Chapter 31:
Finally

[Eunwoo P.O.V]

I open my eyes slowly. It takes a few moment to regain my vision and when it gets clearer, I can see the familiar looking ceiling of Eunbi's house.

I look to my side and see Eunbi is sleeping while sitting on the floor, using her arms as her pillow. I feel something damp on my forehead which turns out to be a wet towel.

I sigh. I can remember everything clearly what had happened before I fainted. She is mad at me. She doesn't forgive me.

Eunbi suddenly stirs and opens her eyes. Our eyes meet for a split of second before I look away. I can't even see her eyes now.

"You're awake! Are you feeling alright now?" She touches my forehead for a few seconds and heaves a sigh of relief. "It's a relief that your fever has toned down." She smiles at me.

Huh? Isn't she mad at me just now?

When she stands up, my eyes follow every moves she makes and that is when I realize the guys are here too. They were all sleeping on the couch and immediately, I feel guilty.

Eunbi wakes them up and they rush to my side, bombarding me with questions and touching my face. "I'm alright now." I assure them.

"Cha Eunwoo, never do that again! You almost gave me heart attack!" Jinwoo hyung scolds me.

"Jinjin hyung is right. We are so worried over you." Sanha pouts. Gosh, this kid is becoming cuter everyday. I miss his aegyo now.

"I'm really sorry for troubling you guys." I smile apologetically.

"Hyung, how did you end up being at your high school?" Rocky asks.

"I just went for a walk to clear my mind but I have nowhere to go so I thought why not if I go there. When I arrive, I felt sick and decided to take a nap for a while. Guess it becomes worse after that."

They all shoot a glare at me and I grin sheepishly. I, myself, never thought this will happen to me.

Jinjin hyung sighs but soon, it turns to a meaningful smile. "Anyway, I heard that there was a love drama going on there before you fainted." He gives me and Eunbi a look.

Eunbi's face starts to turn scarlet read. "Moonbin..." She calls out, her voice drops dangerously low as she narrows her eyes at the latter.

Moonbin chuckles sheepishly, "I think I have to go to the bathroom. Gotta go!" And he scurried away.

Haishhh that kid really...

"Eiiii Eunbi-yah, you have to share us the good news. We have nothing against it, I swear!" MJ hyung nudges Eunbi playfully.

"What good news? There's no good news." Eunbi shoot me a glares before looking away. "We just have a talk." She mumbles afterwards.

"You guys are not together yet??" Jinjin hyung asks in disbelief.

I look down, fiddling with my hands. I don't have any answer to that.

"Hah! I win!" Rocky shouts suddenly. We all look at him confusedly. "Sanha, you are cleaning the toilet for the whole week." He laughs smugly.

Sanha groans, shooting a death glare at me. "Hyung, you are slower than Jinjin hyung!"

What? Did I make any mistake here?

"You bet on us?" Eunbi asks the two youngest and both of them instantly shut up, looking away innocently.

"Aigoo Cha Eunwoo, I'm really disappointed in you. I thought you will solve your problem with Eunbi before you return to the dorm." MJ hyung shakes his head, giving me a disapproving look.

"Hyung!" I widen my eyes at MJ hyung. Eunbi doesn't know that I have to return to the dorm yet, idiot! I want to scream it out loud to him.

"It's okay. I already know about your problem. Moonbin has told everything to me." Eunbi calmly says.

That kid, how dare he told Eunbi about this?!

"You should really return to your dorm. You don't want to get kick out of the group, do you?"

She wants me to leave?

I look into her eyes and I can't tell anything from it.

"We're going first. You can continue your conversation comfortably. Don't forget to share if there's any good news. Bye!" MJ hyung says as he and the rest of the guys retreated. Rocky doesn't forget to call Moonbin in the bathroom too.

Though they are leaving, neither of us look away. It is as if we are talking with our eyes. The moment we hear the door click, Eunbi break the stare.

"I mean it. Go back to your dorm." She mutters.

"Eunbi-yah, I don't want to le—" Eunbi cuts me off, "You rejected me because of your dream right? Now don't let the pain I felt all these time go into a drain. If you hurt me because of your dream, you should continue chasing it until you success. That will make me feel better." She looks up and shyly smile. "I'll wait for you."

....

What. Did. She. Say?

She turns away and heads to the kitchen but I hop off the bed in an instant and stop her before she can take another step.

She turns back to me with questioning eyes. "What are you doing? You should be resting right now."

"Are you serious? You forgive me? You will wait for me?" I ask her in disbelief. Eunbi chuckles and nod. "Hurmm. It's better to wait rather than losing you, right?"

I can't believe this is happening. She is saying that she is willing to wait for me?!

"I'm already tired hurting myself. I want to forget all the bad memories and create a new one. I forgived you and I want you to return to the dorm. You have to show to everyone that you are a talented boy. Okay?"

The fact that Eunbi is willing to wait for me is enough to tell me that she still like me. So it means that I have to do the last step....

Which is making her mine.

"Eunbi-yah..." I heave a deep breath. You can do this, Cha Eun Woo. "I love you."

Eunbi stiffens at my confession. She stares into my eyes, blinking her eyes cutely.

"I love you so much that it hurts. So, will you be mine?" Her eyes become teary.

"Surely." She smiles as a tear escapes her eye. I smile gratefully. Wiping away her tears, I hold her face and kiss her forehead.

Suddenly, I don't feel sick at all. The burden in my heart is gone and I can finally breathe properly.

Moonbin, that moron, is right after all.
