Alex's POV

Im so bored! Demi isnt home because she has a meeting with her record label.

I gave up on ideas of what to do so i just went into my room and watched tv. I flipped through the channels and saw that High School Musical was on.

I clicked on the channel when i heard the front door close. Who could that be? Not Demi becuase shes getting home late tonight.

I looked out the window to make sure that Demi wasnt just home early or something. Yup she definetly isnt home!

Someone broke in.

I took the bat that Demi gave me for protection just in case anything like this happened. I heard talking? It sounded like a man. No!!! It cant be him!!!

I opened my door and saw him coming up the stairs!!! Oh shit he saw me!! He started running towards me and pushed against my door but he was to strong and the door came open.

He grabbed me and through me down the stairs. He started punching and slapping me.

It hurt so bad that tears were rolling down my face. I looked up at him and saw a clear view. It was my dad...

Before I could look away I saw him pull out a knife.

Tyler's POV

I am headed towards Sarah's house. I cant wait to surprise her! Shes gonna be so excited when she sees that im home from PA early!

I walked up to the door step and heard screaming. I tried to open the door but it was locked! I started panicing when I saw Sarah getting beat by this man in the window.

Im sorry Demi but I have to do this! I picked up a rock and through it at the window then climbed in.

Tyler- Alex!!

Alex- TYLER!!! GO!!! GET OUT OF HERE!!!

Tyler- No not without you!

I ran towards her and started punching the man. I kicked him in the head and he dropped the knife he was holding. Unfortunalty it was to late he had already stabbed her, he hit her right in the stomach.

I walked over to the wall and grabbed the knife. The man was on the floor struggling to get up so I stabbed him in the leg to make sure he wouldnt be able to move

I never thought I would be abe to stab someone. I walked over to Sarah and dropped to my knees when I saw her eyes closed.

Tyler- Alex!! Wake up!! Wake up right now!!

I got up and ran towards the kitchen to find a house phone. I got it and dialled 911. The police got here and they brought Sarah and the man to the hospital.

I ran back into the house and called Demi to tell her what had happened.

Demi's POV

Im in the middle of a fricken meeting who is calling me!! Tyler? I answered the phone.

Demi- What do yo-

Tyler- Demi Alex was attacked!! Someone broke into your house! I got there as soon as I could and fought off the man but it was too late, he stabbed her!!

Demi- WHAT!!!!! IM COMING RIGHT NOW!!!

I hung up the phone and ran to my car!! How in the fuck could this happen!! Who would want to do that to my baby girl!

I rushed to the house and saw no one but Tyler sitting on the front step with blood on his shirt!

Demi- OH MY GOD TYLER!

Tyler- They took Alex and the man to the hospital.

Demi- C'mon get in the car!

We ran to the car and started driving to the hospital.

Demi- Who was that man!?

Tyler- I have no clue! I came home early from PA and wanted to bring her flowers and surprise her when I saw her getting beat by the man. I tried to get in but the door was locked. So I broke the window and ran in. I started fighting the guy but he had already stabbed her so I kicked him in the head and grabbed the knife. I dont know how I did it but I stabbed him in the leg.

Demi- Oh my god!! Are you okay!!

Tyler- Im in shock but atleast I got there in time to save her.

Demi- Where did she get stabbed?!

Tyler- In the stomach. I dont think she is dead but she might have been if I didnt get there in time!

We pulled up to the hospital. I ran to the front desk and asked for the room number, the lady told Tyler and I started running.

I got to the room and saw Alex in the hospital bed with her eyes closed.

I ran over to her and the doctor started talking to me.

Doctor- Are you the mother?

Demi- Yes I am, is she going to be ok?!

Doctor- I am not sure, she has slipped into a colma from the amount of blood loss and we wont know if shes okay until she comes out. Im very sorry Ms.

I walked over to her bed and started crying. My baby girl might not make it!

Tyler- Im going to go Demi.

I stood up and hugged Tyler. I know I treated him differently before but he obviously isnt the guy that I thought he was.

Demi- Thank for everything Tyler.

Tyler- I would do anything for Alex. If she wakes up tell her I love her.

Demi- I will. Get some rest.

-3 Days Later-

Ive decided to go home. Im a wreck. I havent slept in 3 days and Alex hasnt woken up.

Susan's POV

I walked into the hospital and went to Alex's room. I walked in to see that she had just awakened.

Susan- Oh good your up.

Alex- Who are you and where's Demi?

-Silence-

Alex- WHERES MY MOM!!

Susan- Alex...I am your mother...
