We sit there in the goal, just talking to each other. It was the highlight of my night for sure. "So how are you?" Adam asks me. I had no idea what to say. I had no idea whether to open up to him and tell him how awful this night was, or if I should just tell him how I feel about him. No, I just said I was good. He then looked at me, then smiled. I smiled back. We then talked for what seemed like days, we got to know each other so well, it was great.

"Adam," I begin to say. "Why did you do this?" I ask him. "Why did you decide to take me down here. There is nothing wrong with this, I promise, I love it. It just does not make a whole lot of sense." I felt like I messed up asking that, but I really did not.

"Well, I have always wanted to tell you something, I just wanted to wait for the right time. Now I think is the right time to tell you." This is it. At this point I was having a celebration in my head because I was so excited. "I like you. Like, really like you." He then grabs my shoulder so we lean in and hug each other. For a long time. It had to be at least a minute. I loved it, and so did he. We were happy. After we finished hugging, he began to talk again. "I was wondering if, um, maybe you want to go see a movie tomorrow night?" He says, starting to blush. I said I loved to, then he hugs me again, tightly, lovingly, with my neck resting on his shoulder.

After the hug, I realize I see Aimee sitting at the top of the hill, waiting for me to come, since she said she will take me home. "I'm really sorry, but I really have to go." I say, "I will see you tomorrow!" Quickly, I run off up to Aimee. "Aimee, oh my gosh... I am so sorry. I just... and then I... I'm sorry." I felt so awful.

"Sara it is fine! I watched you... you and Adam! It's great! I am so happy for you! Like you don't even know" she says, with a massive grin on her face. I said okay, then asked if she was ready to go home. "I tried talking things out with Matt... but he seemed mad. Like he didn't even say goodnight or goodbye to me, but whatever." Aimee sadly explains. I feel bad again. We sit silently the whole car ride home, but as soon as we get home, we text each other:

Me: Aimee, what's really going on.
Aimee: nothing. I'm fine.
Me: No you aren't, tell me what's wrong.
Aim: It's Matt. He just has my emotions all mixed up, but I will get through this.
Me: I don't know Aimee... I feel bad.
Aim: Just talk to me about Adam.
Me: I am going on a date with him tomorrow.
Aim: OMG where?!
Me: the movies.
Aim: awww Sara! Yay! Goodnight, thank you for being a great friend <3 :)
Me: goodnight Aimee.
Aim: Goodnight :) ): :)
