Hi, my name is Alyssa Cross. I'm from Maine. I love Maine so much! All the snow and cold...that's the kind of weather I like. My dad liked sunny weather. My mom was the opposite though. That's why we're moving to Forks, Forks Washington. My mom and dad divorced a few months ago so me and my mom are leaving for Forks. "Alyssa! It's time to go!" Mom yelled up to me. "Okay! Give me a second!" I yelled back. I gave one last look around my old room before I closed the door and headed out to leave.

Airport

We arrived at the airport and my mom grabbed our suitcases and bags. Our other stuff was being taken to Forks already. "Ready?" Mom asked. I nodded and followed her inside the airport. We walked to the plane tunnel and we went onto the plane. Once we sat down in our seats, the intercom came on and told us to buckle up. "Alyssa, I want you to know that I love you." My mom said nervously. "Mom, the plane isn't gonna crash." I said. My mom has a fear of plane crashes, so whenever we have to go on one, she gets like this.

She laughed nervously and fiddled with her seatbelt.

In Forks

We are officially in Forks! "We're here! And we didn't crash!" Mom cheered. I laughed and followed her off the plane. We walked to the baggage claim and collected our bags. Her long-time friend, Charlie Swan, was coming to pick us up and drop us off at our house. She said something about someone named Bella?? I don't know!

"There's Charlie and Bella!" Mom said walking off. I quickly followed her to wherever this Charlie Swan is. "Alyssa, this is Charlie Swan and his daughter. Bella Swan." Mom said. "Nice to meet you guys. I'm Alyssa Cross." I said. Charlie gave a grunt and nodded. Bella was looking down at her feet. Okay...

Mom slightly smiled and we got in the cop car. This is going to be a awkward car ride..

At the New House

"Thanks again Charlie." Mom said. "Anytime Ally." He said. Then he drove off with Bella. "Welcome home!" Mom said. We got our bags and started toward our home.

Our house was up the mountain nestled away. I loved that part. The quiet away from the central part of town. Mom was a doctor, so she was getting a pretty good job here. Apparently as mom told me, Bella is planning on going back to Jacksonville to live with her mom. She doesn't like Forks at all. "Alyssa, I have some bad news." Mom said. "What happened?" I asked walking over. "You start school....tomorrow." She said. I groaned and she laughed. I was supposed to start next week! "That's so not funny mom!" I said. I walked back to my room.

The moving truck got here and we already unpacked our stuff pretty quickly. I have a box left though. Picture to be exact. I opened and knelt by the box. It held so many memories that you couldn't even imagine.

There's a pictures of me and my dad. He was pushing me on a swing. I still remember that day.

Flashback

"Push me daddy! Push me!" My little self had once said. My dad laughed and kept on pushing me. My mom held her camera and snapped a photo of us. "You guys are too cute!" She said laughing. My dad kissed her and then they ended up pushing me together...

Flashback Over

I wiped away a tear and closed the box again. Placing the picture on my knight stand, I got comfortable in my bed and fell asleep.
