"Were like paper planes....no matter how hard you try to direct them somewhere.....they bump into things....and they crash. Then you do it again."

Today Edward said him and his family needed to talk with me about something. "You ready?" Edward asked me. He was driving me over to his house for this and a sleepover. "Can you pretty please tell me what your gonna tell me?" I sweetly asked him. He half smiled. "Sorry. That is for when we get there." He said. I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Is something wrong?" I asked him. He shook his head no. "Okay." I said. Whatever he has to tell me, I can tell it's major. We arrived at his house and it reminded me somewhat of mine back home in Maine. It looked open which I love about a house! "It's beautiful..." I said getting out of the car. I heard a slight chuckle from Edward as we walked to his house. We were greeted by a way over excited Alice and a somewhat happy Rose.
"Hi Alyssa! Come in!" Alice said pulling me inside. I was led to what I think is the family room. "Hello again Alyssa." Dr.Cullen said to me. I smiled and said hello back. I sat beside Edward on the two-seater couch. "We would like to tell you our family secret." Esme, I think, said. I nodded. "Alyssa, our family are vampires." She said. Wait what?! What kinda of powers do they have? "What kinda of powers do you have?" I asked. They all looked taken aback. "Wait, your cool with this?" Rose asked. "Yeah. If any of you wanted to harm me, don't you think you would have done it by now?" I said. They nodded agreeing.
"Well to answer your first question, a few of us have what we call gifts." Dr.Cullen said. "Edward, for instance, can read anyone's mind. And Alice can see the future or what people plan to do." Dr.Cullen. "Thank you for answering my question Dr.Cullen." I said. "Please, call me Carlisle." He said. I smiled and nodded. "Why don't you show her where she'll be staying for the weekend, Alice and Rose?" Esme asked them. Well, it wasn't really a question but she didn't demand it either.
Alice happily pulled me away from the family and to an extra room. "You can stay here. This is your room for whenever you stay the night or whatever." Rose said. I was surprised at her. I didn't think she really liked me a whole lot. "I noticed you had junk food and I was wondering if I could have the Trolli's?" Rose asked. I was confused. "You can eat human food?" I asked. Alice and Rose chuckled and nodded. "Usually we eat animal blood though. But I know we can eat human food." Alice said. I dug around my bag and handed Rose the Trollis and Alice the Sour Patch Kids.
-the next morning-
I ended up falling asleep around 4 am so I'm really tired right now. I checked my phone and it said it was 3 pm! I quickly got up and changed into regular clothes.

"Well good morning sleeping beauty." A voice said behind me. I turned around and smiled when I saw Edward standing there smirking. "It's not my fault they kept me up until 4 am." I said standing on my tip toes. Then Rose appeared. "You guys are too cute together ......it's sick." She said fake gagging. When Edward glared she smirked and walked to her and Emmetts room.
Then Edward took it upon himself to put me on his shoulders and walked me outside and to a clearing in the woods. "Where are we E-" I then noticed the family was there in baseball outfits with gloves, bats, and baseballs. They turned and laughed when they saw me on Edwards shoulders. He didn't put me down even when he had to hit the ball and run. It was humorous to me and everyone else. I laughed when we made it home base and Edward started spinning around!
