Dear bestfriend

Dear bestfriend,
From the moment we meet and you greeted me with your dorky, English handshake I knew we were going to be really close. We dated for a while, which we both admit we don't regret but if it didn't happen then we would still be the same we are now.
When I had dated my ex and we broke up, and out entire group turned on me I felt like I was so alone in the world. None the less, there was alway one person who was there. That was you. You made me feel happy and grateful when everything seemed a disaster, you made the world seem colourful again when I was down in the slums.
We went on holidays together with your family, and I got 'adopted' into your family as well. It felt like I had a second home.
You kept me strong, beautiful, kind, sassy, and made sure I was confident in myself with all your silly compliments.

I remember last year towards the end of the school year we would hang out together and sing to our favourite musicals, and those are some of my most blissful moments. Without you, I wouldn't accept my singing voice. Without you, I wouldn't know what a true friend is.

Without you, I wouldn't be this proud to say that I would marry my bestfriend, for the sake of keeping you by my side for the rest of my life.

The list doesn't matter anyway, all that matters is that opposites attract, and I'm so glad your my opposite friend and not some stranger.
