When Horace mentioned olive and Claire I couldn't help but feel a little jealous then again I'm a potatoe who just sits under a tree stalking you tubers ore reading. ( this is literally me )
We reached the house and I was still kinda blushing I'd never really been that close to a guy before cause I've never really had a boyfriend the only guy I've been that close to is my twin.....
Right ok I need to make a pact with myself I know I'm gonna have to stay here so I guess I should try and push my homesickness aside for this new life with Enoch 😉
As we approached the house it was more of a mansion. The place was beautiful especially the garden I've always loved the out doors so I'm probably gonna spend a lot of my time in that garden.
As I was taking in the beautiful surroundings, the door opened slightly and I was a little girl behind it. She shyly looked round the door until she got a sight of Enoch and ran up to him.
The girl was around 6-8 she wore a beautiful pink dress and her golden locks were tied in pony tails. " good morning Claire" Enoch said as he lifted her up and gave her a quick hug after he put her back on the floor. While she was giggling.
I let out a heavy breath that I didn't know I was holding. At least I didn't need to be worried about Claire but who was this olive??
Claire then turned to me and said "hello miss (y/n) miss p is expecting you my names Claire by the way and I really really really hope you'll be staying with us "
I giggled slightly at her enthusiasm and bent down to her level " if I am allowed to I would be more than happy to stay with all of you " I said sweetly
" ah miss sparrow you would be more than welcome to stay in my care if you chose but first I believe you should meet the children dinner will be in exactly 12 minutes and 14 seconds please do not be late. My name is miss peregrine and I am the headmistress of this loop it is a pleasure to meet you."miss peregrine held out her hand and I shook it.
She gave me a welcoming grin before saying " now miss bloom would you mind showing miss sparrow around the loop" miss peregrine said to a girl who looked about my age she was wearing a baby blue dress, she had very blonde hair almost white and large silver boots which had a lot of carvings in them.
" I would love to lo headmistress but I have to go and help Fiona out in the gardens she said she can't reach up to a branch to help it grown so she needs me to carry her up their" the girl explained
Miss peregrine looked panic until
"I'm I-i c-could show her around "
Enoch's POV
For birds sake why am I stuttering I mean I just wanna show her around.
Miss peregrine looked shocked but happy at my sudden statement but nodded.
And I could see in the corner of my eye Horace was smirking at me and trying to contain his laughter.
" why mr O'Connor I did not expect such hospitality from you of all of my wards but yes you my take miss sparrow on a tour of our house but first get her into some clothes a little more appropriate for this year."
"Aye" was all I said I didn't really wanna make (y/n) change because she looked really sexy (wait what) in the demin shorts and tight fitted flowery top. But I knew better than to disobey the bird so I took (y/n) to Emma's room to find a dress for her.
On the way to Emma's room I don't know why but I had the uncontrollable urge to grad (y/n)'s hand it got even worst when I was that olive was waiting for me when I got into the house. Normally to annoy olive I will completely ignore her or just keep thing from her but right now I wanted payback for the annoying crush she has had on me for years.
So I did it
I carefully took (y/n)'s hand in my own. I was kind of scared of her reaction but instead of the horrible feeling of rejection I got from my own parents.
She intertwined our fingers I could tell thier was a dumb smile spreading across my face but I didn't care all I cared about was that (y/n) was holding my hand and olive saw
But olive wasn't thier looking angery like I hoped she was gone. I guess she must have go to the living room or the kitchen. To be honest I was kind of dissapointed by this so I accidentally....
Let go of (y/n)
I looked over at her and saw the hurt I tried to re grab her hand but she had crossed her arms. I've messed up already and it's been like half an hour.
Well done Enoch you fucked up again round of applause. I then realised why she was annoyed she must think I'm dating olive cause I let go of her hand as soon as olive saw us
WHY AM I SO DUMB EERRRRRGGGGHHHH I GOTTA FIX THIS AND QUICK. But how?....
