Enoch's pov
Wait bit I just actually genially smile and am I blushing ?!?!??!
What the heck is going on I don't do all this mushy stuff but was Horace right was I flirting before ?
I sniggered at (y/n) comment I gotta say she is really different to be around I've never felt this way about someone before. Probably cause I've never interacted with someone for this long except olive and Claire. But Claire was like my little sister and I felt that I had to protect her and olive, well she had an annoyingly huge crush on me which I hated the idea of.
We kept walking with (y/n) and I couldn't help but stare at her she was really different to all the other girls I'd ever seen I dunno what it was I'd never felt like this before her.
My mind was of course then read by Horace who pulled me away from (y/n) and whispered " I'd appreciate it if you didn't spend this whole walk eyeing up the new girl" I gave him a death stare as he smugly shifted back to where he was walking.
As we passed though the loop entrance (y/n) almost fainted I caught her just before she hit the ground.
I looked down and realised (y/n)'s arms were around my neck on mine where around her waist. Also our faces were so close our noses were basically touching.
I looked into her (e/c) ( that means eye colour for those who don't know) as she looked into my brown eyes. I was blushing madly at this point and I didn't like the fact a girl I'd known for ten minutes had already caused me to blush twice.
Both me and (y/n) where just standing thier arms around each other gazing into each others eyes that was until
"Ahem"
Horace cleared his throat and said " look you guys are a adorable couple and everything but the bird is gonna kill us if we're late and I believe that Enoch you have a play date with Claire and olive "
I blushed a deeper shade of red and stood (y/n) back on her feet and gave her a apologetic glance and kept walking.
I don't know why but I really wanna get to know (y/n) better. And I feel as if all these years I've been stuck in the dark aren't gonna stay that way for long.
