Prologue

Danny: Life can get quiet and dull. When we don't get that spark that we want, we do deceiving things that drive us to find it. My life has been like that for some time, just me and my two sisters. Our parents have never been a huge support, ever since they signed the divorce papers. Always going back in forth from a big house to a tiny apartment, it's been like that for seven years. So yeah, life was simple for me throughout that time. Sometimes I look for something bigger, something extraordinary. But only on my terms. The unexpected show up at the worst times for me. It crumbles everything from my walls to my defensive mode, it leaves me vulnerable. But in the end it was all I needed. 

Jake: The rush, the acceleration, that's the feeling I used to get before every show. But now, my life feels rushed and I don't remember why I wanted to perform any more. With all the interviews, important places to be and all the crazed groupies tearing you apart from head to toe, it's hard to focus on my music. Life is in motion and you have to stay in motion or you get left behind, my dad said that to me all the time. He always encouraged me to follow my dreams. But the day death decided it was time for his eternal rest, it brought me to tears and pain in my heart. It left me empty without any knowledge of where to go next. It was always me and my dad and three years later I struggle to find my passion in music again. But when life hits you hard with the unexpected, you stop and realize you look at something different from the rush and it makes you realizes what's around you. But hey who said surprises weren't fun?
