Silence.
With an eerie feel to the room that sent shivers down my spine, I sat up gripping my sides, my ribs ached. I felt a wheezing sensation in my throat as I coughed up a bit of phlegm, spitting it in the opposite direction.
That seemed to only make the pain worse as I counted in tune to my heart beat the amount of times that the pain had stabbed at me as I slowly leant my head back against the wall.
The door in front of me clicked open and Cobalt orbs shot wide as my chest screamed, complaining as they protested against any type of movement. 'Am I going to die?' Where the first things to come running into my head as I scanned my surroundings.
Metallic blue...Everything from the walls to the fake windows were a dull metallic blue that seemed to be old, rotting and peeling away, the smell of iron filled my nose the longer I sat in the room, it made me feel sick to realise that some of it was coming from me, but mostly from the room on the other side. I could see a tall dark mass pull something that sounded to be heavy, the noise the object made was as if it was being dragged along...It sounded like a sack full of sand.
The mass then dropped the object only to reveal it was a deceased human body, male or female I couldn't tell, the body was in pretty bad shape, the hair has been scalped, most of it's limbs were missing and chunks of flesh seemed to be falling off, most of it missing also. I stayed calm as from watching too many horror films I have come to realise that the main character always panics, screaming and crying for help resulting in most of them getting knocked out or killed.
In this case, I didn't want to die, and being knocked out would not be good for me either, my captor would either:
A. Have his guard up which would then make it impossible for me to escape.
Or B, He would regulate how much he would take his time coming to see me...That's if he didn't kill me during that time.
I'm only going to assume this person is a 'he' as judging by what could be seen through the small space made. I placed my hand over my mouth as I put two and two together from what I last remember. My mind coming up with theories upon theories as a memory played within my mind.
I was at college, and a couple of friends had invited me to this party around eight P.M. In the middle of nowhere, with other college students that do not attend our own. I picked apart at my brain as the memory then came flooding into my mind completely.

My brows knitted together as I wrinkled my nose in pure disgust, I tried my very best to get accustomed to this overbearing atmosphere. The music blazed through my ears making my jaw clench together slightly as I watched people scream and go wild on the dance floor.
This place was not fun, this place is not fun at all, now looking back on it I wish that I had put up more of a resistance to Leo's puppy eyes that made me say yes in the first place.
I ducked under sweaty armpits making my way towards the bar, sighing in pure annoyance as I ordered a drink for myself. The bar was quiet all apart from maybe a couple of girls, I chuckled to myself as I thanked whoever was up there. The small bar that was located a few feet away from all the chaos, the music was loud but not that loud, it was bearable, almost to the point where I could hear bits and pieces of the people next to me talk.
When my drink arrived I chugged it down my throat and ordered another, sighing heavily as this night was going to be fairly long, might as well make use of the free bar.
"Hey, I'm Mike...I go to-
"Sorry 'Mike' but I'm kinda busy." I mumbled.
"Doing what?"
"Bein lonely, I quite enjoy it."
"Well that doesn't sound too fun!"
Mike replied with such enthusiasm that I just grunted loudly, this person obviously didn't get the hint, my eyes saw red as swung my body round to face him giving him the meanest dagger I can muster only for all that to vanish.
He.
Was.
Cute!
"Listen...I'll go if I'm bothering you."
With that he turned around, but something within me snapped.
"No, no wait...I'm sorry I'm having a really bad day...I didn't mean to snap. Hey...I'm Lili..."
I do not remember much from there, I remember laughing, getting tipsy and pushing my way through the swarm of sweat and screams to hop the bus and go home...Everything else was a blur from there, being as I remember. Aware but drunk as I entered my front door.
My body shook as I reminisced.
Catching me completely off guard as the now tall black mass was right in front of me. I whined a little bit as trying to get away was painfully hard, with my ribs still screaming at me, I tried to lean forward only to see my neck was chained to the wall almost imobilising me, I could only reach down to my knee and this terrified me.
With nowhere left to move my eyes stayed glued on the figure until I couldn't look anymore.
"What do you want from me?"
"Hush Lili...It is only me..."
-----------------------------------------------------------
"Lili?" Came a voice. "Are you alright las?"Piercing, blue orbs rolled slowly from the back of my head as I caught sight of James placing his palms on either side of my face, trying to wake me.
"Are you alright love?"
"I think she passed out again..." James wheezed
"James...I think she needs water."
I chuckled as I watched them fuss over me like I was thier child, it made me smile slightly as I was coming round, lifting my head up slightly.
"I'm okay..." I coughed, placing my hands in the either side of the sofa, trying to balance myself.
"You don't look it." James said handing me the water. "You look paler than when we first took you in."
"He's right you passed out right after you said your name..." Marianne sighed.
I smiled as I tried to reassure them that I was fine, and that I was thankful, they didn't need to take me in, they could have called the police and let them deal with me, but James and Mari didn't and for that I couldn't help but let lose a small giggle.
"Thank you..."
"It was our pleasure." James laughed as he hugged his wife, calling her a 'Do Gooder' mocking her as she tried to protest, James let out an indigenous 'Hey!' As Mari hit on his arm lightly.
A warm smile dusted my face as I watched them giggle with each other over who was the 'do gooder' and who was the 'synical one' but that happiness soon left me as for a moment I thought I saw him...Smiling at me, waving at me. I sat still as dread filled my chest. I couldn't help but be frightened knowing what I knew of this person... They should have called the fucking army! This emotion must've showed on my face as I watched Mari's face drop.
"You alright?"
Her words sounded off, almost as if I couldn't hear her. Mari's voice echoed throughout my head as I watched him wave at me some more before walking away.
"LilI? LILI What's wrong? You've been staring at the window for a good ten minutes." Mari laughed nervously as she sat beside me rubbing my back.
"I was..." I replied weakly looking around the room almost paranoid.
James' eyes lowered in sadness as he watched his wife's face. They couldn't help but feel sorry for me as I curled myself into a tiny ball.
"What happened to you? I know you said you'd tell us after you'd gotten but...-
"I know..." I breathed as I pulled my long, brown hair back. "I'll tell you."
