I woke up this morning with her on my mind. I just can't remember where I know her from,but I know for sure it was something huge I just can't put my finger on it. If this is bothering me this much shouldn't I have remembered by now? If she was so important at one point then why don't I know?
This is bull shit- *knock knock*
Someone knocked on my bedroom door interrupting my thoughts...
"Who is it?" I asked, suddenly irritated at the interruption.
"It's Ray"
"Come in"
(He enters)
"Hey prince I was just comin' to check on you cuz' you've been kinda out of it since yesterday bro...everything ok?"
"Yea...I'm good"
"Bro you don't have to pretend around me,I see right through you and I know ur not "good"...whatsup?"
"*sigh* fine...do u remember when we were at the meeting with Keisha yesterday and her assistant came in?"
*ray nods*
"I know that girl from somewhere and I can't remember where and it's really killing me because I can't remember and I know it was something important"
"Well just give it some time or try to talk to her and ask her if she remembers you"
"Ray I can't just walk up to her and say 'hey I know you from somewhere do you know me?' get real"
"Well it was just a suggestion...she does look really familiar though now that you mention it"
"Well thanks for checking on me bro...I'll be ok"
"No problem we're all here for you"
(Ray leaves his room)
*Princeton returns to his thoughts*
...If only I could remember what Keisha said her name was... maybe if I hear it it'll help me remember
Adrianna's POV
I got up this morning did my normal morning hygiene routine and got dressed. I woke my baby up got her ready and we were out the door. Once I dropped her off I went to work. I said good morning to Keisha and began working on the HUGE pile of files that needed to be checked and put away that was waiting for me on my desk when I arrived. About halfway through my work Keisha called me into her office.
Me: yes Keisha?
Keisha:Adrienne at around 2:30 Walter and I will be having a meeting with the boys about something important and I need you to be there because it involves you too.
Me: If you are firing me i'd prefer you do it straight up rather than In a room full of people.
Keisha: *laughs* Adrienne it's nothing like that at all. why would I even think about firing you? You are the best assistant I've ever had, Id be a fool to let u go.
Me: really? thanks that really means a lot to hear you say that Keisha. I guess I'll see you at 2:30.
Keisha: yea I'll see you later
*Adrienne's thoughts*
Oh lord it just hit me that u have to be in a room with Keisha and her little band and stay. I'll have to talk to those boys that I don't even know. I haven't even really looked at their faces. what if they look creepy? what if they stare at me the entire time? grrr I need to just relax, I'm overthinking this whole thing...I wonder what this meeting concerns me for?Keisha said it's nothing bad but I'm not gonna put myself in the clear yet. we'll see what goes down at this meeting...
AND there goes chapter 3....I can already hear u readers goin "TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH!".... Lol sorry for the EXTREMELY long wait but I did my best the first few chapters are always the hardest to write because they are basically just fillers until everything begins to unfold....thank you to everyone who was patient with me and who vote for my story.
