Chapter 2: Two First Days Coming to an End

Adriennes POV

It was officially the end of my first day and I was ready to go get my baby from school because I missed her all day. Its gonna take me awhile to get used to not being with her 24/7.

Before I left I decided to go say goodnight to Keisha and let her know I was about to leave.

(knocks on her office door)

Keisha: come in

Adrienne: hi Ms. Gamble I was just checking to see if you needed anything else before I leave

Keisha: oh no im fine you can go and for the millionth time just call me Keisha

Adrienne: ok see you tomorrow Keisha

Keisha: hahaha ok and tell your daughter I said hi

Adrienne: ok will do

*Adrienne's thoughts*

I swear I think Arianna is the reason I got this job because she was with me when I came for my interview and the second we walked in Keisha just fell in love with her and she wasn't even paying attention to me but she said I got the job in the end so who cares, ari's cuteness came in handy that day

*end of thoughts*

I walked back to my desk and grabbed my phone and my purse and headed for my car. Once I got to Ariannas school I walked into her class and as soon as she saw me she ran into my arms.

"mommy!! mommy!!! I had so much fun today we did colowing and we got to go pway outside and we got cookies!"

"that's great baby im so glad you had fun today" I said as I lifted her up off the ground and placed her on my hip. After we grabbed her bag and I signed her out we headed for the car and I strapped her into her seat. She's only 2 going on 3 in a few months but she's small so she still needs a booster car seat. once she was secure I hopped in the front seat put on my seat belt and pulled off.

"So what do you want for dinner baby pizza? or McDonalds?"

"Donald's!!!!" she screamed from the backseat throwing her hands in the air. I swear she is too much

...a few minutes later I pulled into the parking lot of a McDonalds not too far from our house and got out to get ari from her seat. As I was unbuckling her from her seat she impatiently bounced her leg as if I was taking an hour and I knew exactly why. "mommy hurry I wanna pway" I finally got her unbuckled and out of the car while she waited for me to grab my purse n lock the door knowing I wouldn't let her run until we were completely on the sidewalk...as soon as we walked in she ran straight for the play house thing in the back for little kids. She is so obsessed with the thing that one day I had to crawl in there myself to get her out, mind you I was in heels that day so to say I was mad as hell at that point in my day would be an understatement.

I ordered our food and went to sit at a booth where I could watch her while I waited for our order number to be called. As I sat their I just thought about my life and about what excitement tomorrow may bring for me and my baby girl...

authors note: I know this is boring but just bare with me until the drama kicks in, I'm kinda lazy and I don't feel like typing all of this unnecessary stuff about them at McDonalds so they ate and left and when they got home she gave her a bath and they went to sleep...on another note this is officially the end of chapter two I know it was boring and extremely short but I just wanted to get another chapter out. I promise the future chapters will be longer but this was just a filler. I don't expect comments but please vote so that I know their are still people reading.
