Mia's POV

I saw right through what Lucy was doing. She was trying to make Lucifer jealous by flirting with Liam.

I saw Lucifer eyes flash a red color and it looked like he as about to attack Liam and tear him to shreds. Lucy glanced back at him and smirked to herself but kept flirting with Liam. That bitch.

I gripped Lucifer's arm, trying to make him turn this way but his eyes were focused on those two. Why won't he notice my feelings for him, do I have to scream it at him.

I felt something take over my body and I grabbed Lucifer's head and made him look into my eyes. This is my chance and I'm not going to waste it.

I slapped my lips onto Lucifer's and pulled his body close to me. I heard a gasp come from Lucy and I felt Lucifer struggle against me but I wasn't going to let him go.

Lucy's POV

My heart was shattered into two, broken and wasn't going to be fixed. I stared at Lucifer's back as he kissed Mia. I wanted to move, I wanted to run away and never come back but my feet just stayed where they were.

I felt tears prick the sides of my eyes, threatening to fall down but I didn't want to cry. I felt Liam grip the side of my arm and try to pull me away from the situation but I just pulled my arm away from him.

Lucifer shoved Mia off of him and quickly turned around to face me. He tried grabbing my hand but I quickly pulled my hand away from him.

I know this is my fault, I was stupid enough to try and flirt with Liam but why does it hurt so much.

I saw Liam pull Kai away from the situation,from the corner of my eye. But my eyes never left Lucifer's. I stared directly at him and got the same eye contact back.

"L-Lucy," He whimpered and stepped toward me slowly. It broke my heart hearing his shaky voice and knowing it was my fault he was like that.

I wanted to hug him to embrace him and tell him it was fine but everything wasn't fine. Because the other side of me wanted to kick and slap him and leave him with nothing.

He slowly stepped toward me again and I took one step backward on instinct. Lucifer looked disgusted with himself as he saw me step away from him.

"Lucy," He whispered again. I wasn't sure if it was to himself or to me but it didn't matter right now.

"I betrayed my mate," I heard Lucifer whimper. He was shaking as he walked toward me again but with a little more speed.

This time I stood right where I was and looked him directly in his eyes. They had the look of regret pouring from them.

My breath was shaky. I do feel betrayed from him kissing another girl but I feel obligated to hug him and say everything is ok. I don't want to see him in this state, ever.

I snapped out of my trance as I saw Lucifer's arms reach out to hug me. I quickly dodged them and as I soon as I did he looked heart broken.

"Lucy," He choked out and I whimpered.

"I just need time alone right now," I managed to say with shaky breaths. Lucifer looked right at me with sadness in his eyes as he fell to the ground.

"O-ok," He told me as I walked past him and Mia who was watching the story unfold from afar.

I need time to think this through.
