I play through MCSM frequently and I keep noticing Luktra moments and I figured I should finally start documenting them because HOLY MOLY some of them are amazing!
If you're anti-Luktra you probably shouldn't read this book lol
I just played through Episode 4 today, so this is fresh in my mind-- especially since I played through the arc where both Petra and Lukas come with you to the Farlands. And during the witch fight, I noticed something that caught my attention...

When you leave the team to look for food, this is how you leave them. Lukas is off by himself in the corner, next to those two trees.
When you come back from stealing the cake, you find the team like this:

Those two trees are now on the left side of the screen. Petra, Reuben, Soren, and Olivia have all run off past the trees to escape-- but Lukas really hasn't moved. All he's really done is to get on his feet-- and step in front of Petra.
This whole scene goes by really fast, but there's a surprising amount here o.o Right after Jesse arrives, the witch and skeletons target Lukas and Petra-- shooting the tree and splashing it with potions. Both Petra and Lukas drop, but they do so differently...

Petra goes all the way down-- smart move, she's making herself as small a target as possible. But Lukas just takes a knee-- despite the fact that those arrows are now at his head level. He stays like this until the team runs away-- keeping Petra behind him.
Lukas deliberately made sure Petra was out of harm's way-- even though it meant putting himself in danger. He may have made himself a bit less of a target-- but if either of them were going to get hit, it would be Lukas. He could have been seriously injured or worse (but thankfully he wasn't o.o), but he ignored that fact to keep Petra safe.
When the team finally ran, Lukas was the last to leave-- standing his ground until everyone-- including Petra-- was safely out of the way.

Most of this happened off to the side of the main action, so I'm really thankful I caught it! But it's honestly incredible to me-- Lukas knowingly put himself in harm's way to protect Petra. He could have been killed, but he did it anyway! I still can't get over how selfless this dear one is, and how dependable he is when it comes down to it <3
