Chapter 11 - The Mirror

Lucy's POV

It's been about 1 month since I came back from Home. I missed the creatures, but I knew I couldn't stay forever. Efteres and I became more close, and I finally got completely used to her. I was chatting with Efteres while sipping a strawberry milkshake, when Master silenced the guild.

"LISTEN UP, BRATS! THE GRAND MAGIC GAMES ARE COMING UP, AND I HAVE PICKED OUT THE CONTESTANTS!

THEY ARE... ERZA SCARLET!

NATSU DRAGNEEL!

GRAY FULLBUSTER!

GUILDARTS CLIVE!

AND LUCY DRAGNEEL-HEARTFELIA! FOR TEAM B, THE COMPETITORS ARE...

GAJEEL REDFOX!

CANA ALBERONA!

WENDY MARVELL!

LAXUS DREYAR!

AND MIRAJANE STRAUSS! THE BACK-UP COMPETITORS ARE;

BIXLOW, EVERGREEN, FREED, ELFMAN, AND LISANNA! NOW GO TRAIN, YOU BRATS!!! YOU HAVE 3 MONTHS!!" He yelled. I smirked victoriously and finished my milkshake.

"Bye, Mira! Good luck training. I'll be... somewhere. Oh, and LISANNA! PLEASE TAKE CARE OF VIOLIN FOR ME! THANKS!!" I said slyly, and loudly, then casted the portal to Home in a flash. But this time, the portal was a golden magic circle on the ground, with a blinding white light surrounding it. When I spawned the portal completely, it was a bright gold, white, and purple portal on the floor, still blinding. I hopped in and closed it behind me, snickering at their shocked faces- Well, before the blinding light appeared. I fell from the galactic sky, and inhaled the fresh air- or, well, lack of air, I guess.

I turned into my dragon form and flew to the castle, switching back as I landed. Mother, Father, Zeref-nii, and Sosen-san came outside, smiling when they saw me.

"Kon'nichiwa, minna! I'm going to train here for 3 Earthland months. The Grand Magic Games are coming up, and I want to train!" I said happily.

"Well, you can work on your magic defenses. Like, if someone casts a nullify spell, you'll want infinite magic defense so that it will have no effect. Basically, it turns your magic into curses or blesses, no magic depletion or blockage of any sort will work, and I'll have Priena and Curuma help. Meaning you'll need new limiters, too. It takes a lot of time, and you have that, well, at the most, I'd say 3 years. Let's begin!" Zeref-nii says. I smile and nod, excited.

~timeskip, 2 years later~

I stretched, getting out of bed and rushing down the halls to the kitchen. I greeted all of the maids and butlers kindly as I saw them, and when I reached the kitchen, I immediately began on making Cosmo Stardust for breakfast. It was a sweet dessert-like breakfast for Star Dragons and Star Dragon Slayers. I went into the dining room and sat down next to Zeref-nii. Today was the day I had to clean out the castle storage, giving I had lost a bet to Curuma. After I finished breakfast, I teleported to the castle storage, and sighed. This would take a while.

"I'll help, Lu!" Efteres, who figured out she could turn into a Spirit here, like a Spirit Form, said, now by my side. I smiled at her happily and side hugged her. Surprisingly, I had figured out that her skin WASN'T rotting, It was just dark.

"Thank you, Efter! Now, c'mon, to work!" I said dramatically. I walked over to one corner of the room, and saw a mirror on the ground. Efteres was burning some of the boxes, after looking through them of course, and I chuckled. I picked the mirror up, and my eyes instantly widened, suddenly in an empty terrain, with portals everywhere I looked. I set the mirror down, and I was back in the storage room. (media)
