You got this, (Y/N). You'll be fine. It's been a week since I moved to LA, and I've adjusted quite well and made sure to get everything settled. Turns out when you make a list and want to get things done, you can accomplish it faster. Maybe I should've started making to-do lists sooner.
Right now I'm sitting at my computer, trying to think of a name for my YouTube channel. Just this part seemed harder than I thought it would. Why is it so hard to be creative on the spot? Is this what all YouTubers go through before they have their channels? Well, whatever the case, after an hour or so of thinking about it, I finally decided to go with (Y/YT/N). Once I made sure my choice was fitting, I set up my camera and began to record.
"Hello out there, everyone. My name is (Y/N) and welcome to my channel! If you're here you must be interested in something that I talk about. Most of these topics may be hard for some to hear and triggering for others. Please be safe when listening and watching. There may be trigger warnings given in the titles of some videos and I may forget in others because that's just how I can be. I hope that you can find some truth in the things I say and that they may help you personally or help you help another person. I only hope for the best as I sit here and do this.
"I don't think I'll jump right into a topic for this video, though. I'll just keep it as an introduction and welcome. It is incredibly short, but I promise that the videos will be longer as I start to get into exactly what I want to say for whatever may be the topic, as I said before. I wish to thank you all in advance for any support you'll give me, and I hope to see you all again soon! Much love, (Y/N)." I smiled and waved one last time before reaching to turn the camera off. I immediately started the editing process to make sure the video would be ready to go up as early as tonight.
Since the video is so short though, I suppose the process won't take that long. I laughed at myself as I finished up, and set the video to process and upload to the channel. Meanwhile, I went to the kitchen and fixed myself some macaroni and cheese. I took it back to my office space and sat down to eat, watching Logan again as I did so. I tried to remember exactly when it was that I became a member of the Logang, but I just couldn't think of it to save my life. I laughed as Logan did another stupid thing and finished my small meal.
After some time had passed, I looked at my channel and smiled when I saw that I already had about ten subscribers. I knew that I wouldn't be noticed that quickly; it was the though of it happening some day that made me smile. It's been a while since I've let myself really smile at something I've done on my own. But I'll take it. I shut everything down and cleaned up before heading off to my room to get ready for bed. Tomorrow would start off the days of the self triggering and talking about some tough things.
Starting off with relatively easy things is the best way to go. I should probably make the first thing I talk about be my anxiety. This is what has lead to everything else in my life. I wish I didn't let it control me, but I suppose it can't be helped. I've tried many times to get it to an easy point, but I failed in the end. Like most things in life, I guess it just takes time.
