Loneliness
The feeling of intense longing
To be loved
To be near someone
To just feel some sort of happiness for a brief moment
However that happiness is ripped away
The heart is a fragile thing
So fragile that
Happiness fades in and out like waves
Never staying
Always disappearing in time
To be filled with a void of loneliness and negativity
And then coming back to repeat the same twisted process
In a twisted world
With twisted people
Loneliness is inevitable
Humans long to be loved
Yet we can't seem to accept all love
What is this world now
Filled to the brim with ignorance
It is slowly dying
We are nobody's
Who can't seem to make things better
Yet we talk like we can
We all like to believe there is light at the end of the tunnel
But is there?
What if only loneliness and a pit of despair awaits?

In a dark pit you can't escape from
Yet we always do...
