The one with the Twin Tail

Chapter 2 Yoshii's First Week of School

     August 2, 2015, I had just transferred here in Bear Creek High School, this was the first day of school for me as a first year student. I moved here in America about five days ago which brings it back to June 29th Thursday night. Having to adjust was difficult for me, specially when it is your first time trying to get use to a different weather and day. By the way, my name is Akihisa Yoshii, you can just call me "Aki" for short. Anyway, now that's sorted out or said, first day of school was ok I guess, I just had to attend my classes and me having to get to know my classmates and teachers. After that was done for the 3 periods that I had to attend, lunch break was up, and so I went to the cafeteria and ate there. Being a exchange student here at Bear Creek High is the hardest thing I can ever try to get through with because I have to get use to knowing people and being friendly with them. 

     During lunch break while I was eating, I saw a glance of this pretty girl with a twin tail on, she was alone in one of the tables just like me and so, I went up carrying my food tray to her table. I felt nervous while I walked over there because I don't know how she'll react if I strike up a conversation.  And so I just sat there like a normal human being and just literally stayed silent while trying to just enjoy the food but before having to eat the food first though, I had to say my thanks to the food and God of course, then that's when I started eating my food. While I was eating my food, I thought for sure I saw a glance from that twin tailed girl staring at me and probably thinking, "hmm, can this guy be also Japanese like I am, nah there's no way", and so again, I just went on and continued on finishing my food for lunch before the bell starts ringing. Meanwhile while I was about to finish eating my food, the twin tailed girl was trying to talk to me as she was shy. The first words that was coming out of her mouth were " Um Excuse me but are you somehow Japanese?". As she asked me that question, I really felt nervous that I barely could talk but I somehow needed to tell her anyway answering " Yes, I am Japanese, hmm why do you ask?".
