What Happened?

I used to talk a lot.
Now, I'm silent.
What happened?
I used to be out going, and never want go home.
Now, all I want to do is stay at home.
What happened?
I used to always watch TV or play video games.
Now, I just read.
What happened?
I used to be the person who smiled.
Now, I'm the person who frowns.
What happened?
Why am I like this, what happened?
There is only one question that roams my mind,
Day in, and day out.
What happened...to me?

This poem was made for a friend, this friend didn't have their life in order, they are always asking that question and sometimes, I ask that question too. Just...what happened? Two simple words. Why are they so difficult to answer? "What happened?"
