CONFIRMED
After last night's press conference, we can now officially confirm the answers to the questions you've all been asking!
Julie Plec, producer of our beloved Vampire Diaries and The Originals, took to the press tables to give the announcement we've all be waiting for.
She said, "On an Instagram post, I told a lot of fans that I wanted to bring a fresh face to The Originals. So after a long talk with a lot of people, we have finally settled on one person."
The main cast of said show were soon to join Plec at the tables, waiting in anticipation for their lovely producer to announce their new cast mate.
Julie Plec continued her speech, "This particular person is a girl that everybody knows and I adore very much. She's been through a bit of a rough patch lately, so I'm hoping that this speech will cheer her up a little."
The teasing of the announcement kept everyone on the edge of their seats and on their tip toes. And when she finally announced the actresses name, we were all ecstatic.
She is, none other than, Allison Roden. You will know her from her short lived role as Riley McCall on Teen Wolf, a role she had unexpectedly dropped before Daniel Sharman, who played Isaac Lahey, was welcomed to the show.
Like Sharman, Allison is now moving on to the very same show to play a character of which we have no details for yet.
