When I woke up, I felt happy- a kind of light feeling that I hadn't had in a while. It was nice and comfortable, although I was hot.
Really hot.
Something was on top of me.
I jumped, startled at the weight on top of my chest. It was Harry and he was fast asleep, his arms around me his face on my chest. Lower down I could feel his legs entwined with mine.
"GET THE FUCK OFF ME!" I screamed, pushing Harry off of me, trying desperately to free myself from his embrace.
As soon as I screamed he was awake, immediately springing in to action, his hand clamped on my mouth.
"Shut up!" He roared, the green in his eyes flashing.
He seemed to take a slow deep breath in, calming himself, aware that there was no danger.
"Don't-" He snapped. "Don't you ever do that again."
I raised my eyebrows at him.
"You were on TOP of me-" I started to protest.
"I thought you were in danger-" He said, shifting so that he was on top of me still, both legs to each side of my body, pinning me in place. He took his hand off my mouth.
"SO DID I!" I yelled back.
His brown crumpled, like he was confused.
"Why did you think that?" He asked slowly.
I said nothing, speechless.
Did he really, REALLY just ask me that?
It was because I - A) Thought he was a rapist and B) He was on TOP of me
Using the element of surprise, I pushed him off of me. He stumbled over slightly and I stole the opportunity to get up and grab my clothes.
"Where are you going?" He barked, following me immediately.
"Home." I muttered. "Wait- why am I even telling you? You don't deserve that courtesy."
He grabbed my arm sharply, spinning me around to face him. I gasped slightly at his roughness.
"I don't need to deserve it."
My hand came up to slap him straight in the face, the sound cracking throughout the room. His face flushed with both the hit and anger.
"But you sure as fuck deserved that." I spat, pulling myself away from him.
I walked through his house, surprised at how mad I was. No longer was I afraid- I was bloody pissed.
"Ello babe!" A voice said from my left. I jumped, shocked out of my rage.
There was a boy a little bit taller than me with golden brown hair, curious eyes and an easy going smile. He wore plaid pajama pants and a grey t-shirt.
"You must be Arreh's new bird." He said, giving me a wink.
"I am nobody's fucking bird." I spat, continuing to walk down the hall.
The boy barked laughter, and I could hear him following me.
"I'm Louis by the way- Would you like some tea?" He asked kindly.
I debated on whether or not to ignore him.
"I'm Hannah." I said quickly. This boy hadn't done anything to me, why be mad at him? "No, I'm going now."
"And what does Harry think about that?" He asked, raising his eyebrows slowly.
I gave him a smile. "He's fine with it- not that it matters." I lied smoothly.
