Harry POV-
I stared as her little body went limp in my arms, her eyes slowly drifting to a close.
"It's awfully quiet back there-" I heard Louis chuckle, his head popping around to face us. The car started to swerve as Louis's expression changed. I felt myself stiffen- waiting for him to chastise me.
"HARRY FOR FUCK'S SAKE." He yelled, looking back and forth between me and the road.
I shrugged, balancing her head on my shoulder, my arms supporting her weight.
"She'll wake up soon." I sighed defensively.
"This is how you treat your girlfriends?" He scoffed. "My god you are just as bad as them."
"What did you say?" I snapped, my eyes narrowing in on his.
"You heard me bastard." He said back, his tone unusually serious.
"Take that back." I yelled, my words dripping with threat.
He turned his attention back onto the road. "You don't scare me Harry so don't you dare threaten me."
"I'll do what I want." I bit back, stonily turning out to the window.
"And so will I..." He mumbled as he continued driving us to my house. "I hope she fucking kicks your ass."
I laughed at this, turning my gaze onto her elfin face. She was so peaceful when she slept- her long thick lashes framing her delicate face. "Oh I'm sure she'll try."
I held an emphasize on the 'try'.
"Maybe for once you should let her." Lou said, gazing at me in the mirror.
I considered it briefly- perhaps I will.
"That's not a bad idea." I smirked, imagining her face lighting up in triumph as she beats me to the ground.
Louis groaned. "You are always in it for yourself."
I laughed aloud. "Of course I am- why do it otherwise?"
"I don't know.." He mumbled sarcastically. "Maybe because.. I don't now.. you LIKE her?!"
"And what do I get from that?" I said back.
"Oh just shut up."
I smirked- I had won, like always.
We pulled into my street, the large manicured gardens rolling over the hills as we drove by.
"You are such a posh prick do you know that?" He groaned as he pulled into my drive.
"Funny YOU calling me that." I laughed.
"Excuse me?"
"Mr 'it's Burberrrrrrry'." My voice rose an octave as I impersonated him.
"I'm going to buy you a dishwasher and place it outside your doorstep so you cant get out." He laughed flippantly, preying on my fear.
"Do that and I'll come after Eleanor with a 9mm." I said stonily.
"Bastard." He coughed.
I simply threw him a smirk, growing bored of the banter.
He pulled us up to the front door and I hopped out, carrying Hannah in my arms up to the front step.
"Is everyone here?" I asked him.
He checked his phone briefly. "Yep- they are in the living room."
I nodded before strutting into the house behind him.
