Chapter Four

Robyn's POV

Honestly, two months flew by. With all the packing, sorting and throwing away I had to do, I barely did anything and time just flew by.

Now, my first day at uni is just a night away.

I'm quite excited, I've already met one- very hot -guy, so I guess I at least know one person.

I walked into my now half empty room and sat down at my dresser. Pulling out some moisturiser, I applied it to my face and rubbed it in. Feeling satisfied, I led down in my bed and started to drift off into a deep sleep, only dreaming about what kind of people I'm going to meet tomorrow.

The following morning, I woke up to my alarm beeping. I flopped off my bed and made my way into my bathroom, turning it on and hopping in.

After a relaxing a shower, I danced back into my room and picked up the pile of clothes hat I had set out. I slipped on my plain white t-shirt, put on my socks, followed by my blue skinny jeans.

Satisfied with my clothing, I looked into the mirror.

"Ew. I do not look nice this morning."

I sat down at my dresser and dried my hair, letting it hang loosely down my back. I powdered my face a little and slipped on my converse, picking up my backpack and checking that everything is in it.

"Great."

I jumped up and practically ran downstairs. I was greeted by my mums smiling face and a hug from both her and Jack.

Giving my family one last look, I left to the house to go and catch my bus.

My hands were sweating again.

Jesus I'm so hot and you know it.

After 928347839291938438 hours, I finally reached the university. My first instinct was to look for Damien so I didn't look like a loner but then we where separated and where given a little piece of paper that told us where our dorms were.

Obviously, I got lost. . . Way more than once. I managed to reach my dorm in the end though, and if I knew what I was about to see behind the door, I wouldn't of entered.

"THEY'RE TWO THEY'RE FOUR THEY'RE SIX THEY'RE EIGHT! SHUNTING TRUCKS AND HAULING CRATES. RED AND GREEN AND BROWN AND BLUE. THEY'RE THE REALLY USEFUL CREWWWW. ALL WITH DIFFERENT ROLLS TO PLAY, ROUNF TIDMOUTH SHEDS OR FAR AWAY. DOWN THE HILLS AND ROUND THE BENDS THOMAS AND HIS FRIEEEENNNDDDSSSS,"

I just got earraped. No joke. A girl, about my age maybe a bit younger was jumping up and down on the white sofa with her shoes on, singing Thomas The Tankengine theme tune.

What has my life come to?

Then it hit me.

She IS Thomas the tank engine, I mean, it's so clear, who else knows the Thomas the tank engine of by heart? And she dances so. . . majestically. Buuuuut she needs to work on her voice, because she sounds like a train running over a conductor. Get it? No? Okay....

Guess I'm the only one who watches Piemations.

"H-Hey," I managed to say.

I don't like talking to new people. I don't know what it is, I guess I've just never had any real friends.

In high school I got bullied- a lot. It killed me that no one would help me, I felt alone.

Despite the many times I moved high schools it still remained the same. It came to a point where I wouldn't speak to anyone and my mum had to homeschool me.

"Hey! You must be. . . Robyn? I'm Harper! Nice to meet you stranger!" She put her hand out in front of me for me to shake it.

Hesitantly, my hand made its way her hers as she shook my hand, showing kindness.

"You too. . ." She gave me a hard stare, making me feel very intimidated.

"You're not much of a social butterfly, are you?" I shook my head. "Hm. Well, I think with a bit of work we could fix that."

To be honest, she seemed really nice. We where complete opposites, I think that we'll get along just fine.

After choosing my room and unpacking, me and Harper decided to go out to all the stalls that where near the university. Most students went there when they came as it was a great way to meet others. I, of course, went straight to the donut stand. I was starved.

"Woahh. Hungry?" I heard Harper saying as I stuffed my face with the delicious, sugary treats.

"DoNUT talk to me. I'm eating." Harper let out a slight giggle.

"Making puns now are we? Well in that case." She pulled out one of those small sweet pizzas that are like 50p and took out a slice, pointing it at me.

"Are you sure you want a PIZZA my puns?" We both burst out laughing at our stupidity as we continued to look at all the stalls.

I was suddenly halted by, what I thought, was a brick wall.

"Robyn? Oh hey!" I looked up at the tall hunk in front of me.

"Damien!"
