I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. I'm sorry it's been a little while since I updated. I lost the idea for the chapter and I had to search for it in my notes.

I apologize, but I don't think this chapter will be very long. However, it is leading up to exciting things(;

*3rd person POV*

For the past week, Harry has noticed that something is off with Louis. Instead of being his usual happy self, he seems very depressed and on edge. If anyone comes up to him, he jumps and bolts the other way to escape their presence. It's almost as if he's scared of someone discovering what the problem is. Harry doesn't understand; Louis is supposed to be happy with Niall. He's the one who ended things, so why is the one who is more upset? Wanting to uncover the reason behind Louis' anxious state, he walks up to Louis between classes when Niall isn't around.

"Hey, Lou. Are you okay? You seem...fidgety, lately. Did something happen?" Harry asks out of genuine concern and curiosity.

Louis yelps and begins looking around every which way as if someone is secretly witnessing their conversation. Harry doesn't know what the big deal is. Just because they're broken up doesn't mean he can't talk to him. Everyone knows they split, so what's the huge secret?

"U-Um, everything's fi-fine! I just ha-have to go," he stammers in a weak yet defensive voice, scurrying off down the hall before Harry can manage another word out.

Harry stares after him in complete and utter confusion, wondering what he did to make Louis so worked up. What Harry does not know, though, is that Niall was watching their conversation with pure hatred and disgust. How dare Louis breathe a word to that asshole when Niall specifically told him not to. For that, he must be punished, so he knows exactly what happens when he has the audacity to attempt to cheat on him and disobey his rules.

When school is over, Niall forces Louis into his car and drives him to a vacant parking lot. Louis is trembling the entire ride, thinking of a million things the evil, blue-eyed man could do to him. His mind instantly travels to the deepest, darkest possibilities. What if he abuses him? What if he kills him for talking to Harry? Even worse, what if he kills Harry?

Louis' heart sinks out of his chest at the mere idea of Niall murdering Harry for his own mistakes. He would never forgive himself if he allowed anything to happen to the love of his life. He'd rather die than let Harry get hurt.

The feminine boy's eyes water when Niall parks the car and locks all of the doors. Small whimpers flee his soft, pink lips as he watches Niall reach over and unbuckle his seatbelt for him, grabbing Louis by the arm and yanking him over his lap. He lets out a few cries while Niall takes off his belt, lifting up Louis' skirt and pulling down his underwear.

"This is what happens when you defy me," Niall growls in a warning tone.

Muffled sobs fill up the car like smoke as Niall whips him harshly over his bum and back until they're both dripping with blood. In an effort to free himself, Louis looks over at Niall's car door, trying to quietly unlock the doors so that he can break out from his torture session. When the abuser isn't looking, Louis quickly hits the button and vanishes from the car, making a break for the one place where he knows he'll be safe.

What do you think of Harry still caring about Louis even though they're not together anymore? Of Louis' reaction to them talking? Of Niall punishing him? Where do you think Louis went when he escaped?

I hope you all liked this chapter. I know it's been very depressing and morbid lately, but I promise you from the bottom of my heart that it WILL get better.
