Batman is isolated in a cold dark room. The room appears to be adequate for his dark nature, but unfortunately, he is not there by choice. He is bound to a wall of stone where his hands are fastened above his head. He stands on trial against a man he knows all too well.
It all started when the sun went down. Bruce Wayne stepped into the Batcave and approached the computer. He opened a scan on current events in Gotham. For the first time it appeared that the city wasquiet. No Laughter from The Joker. Silence was a little more frightening then he had remembered.
Thats when the Bat Signal lit up the sky. He stood and immediately took on the identity of Batman. He jumped into the Batmobile and looked back over at the computer. Silence. He frowned and then drove out of the Batcave.
What it is Commissioner? he asked.
Good Evening Batman. We have a special mission for you. One of our inmates is being transported from the Gotham Jailhouse to Arkham Asylum. A riot broke out and he managed to kill a man. We need to transfer him into the hands of a Psychiatrist. We would like you to accompany him in his travels.
No Problem.
Be careful Batman.
Batman got back into the Batmobile and headed over to the jailhouse. He saw two guards escorting out a man whom he did not recognize. They loaded him into the back of the transport van and felt a sense of relief when Batman came into their view.
Batman, what are you doing here?
Commissioner Gordon asked me to assist you in this prisoner transport.
Really? Ok, guess he thought we couldnt handle it on our own. Well, extra guards are always a good thing, right?
The guard closed the back doors and nodded towards Batman. He then climbed into the passenger side of the truck. The other guard was already behind the wheel and ready to go.
Batman leaped into the Batmobile and the two vehicles departed the Gotham Jailhouse. Batman called Alfred from inside the Batmobile.
Yes sir? he answered.
Alfred, have you heard anything about a riot breaking out in the Gotham Jailhouse tonight?
No sir. Everything appears to be steady and uneventful.
Strange, Batman said.
Sir?
Commissioner Gordon has asked me to accompany a prisoner transfer from Gotham Jailhouse to Arkham Asylum.
That seems rather odd. Do you know the prisoner?
No. I have never seen him before, but Commissioner says he is dangerous and needs psychiatric help.
Be careful, sir
Yeah, he said that too
