'This isn't him. Just give him the pills and he'll be your normal, lovable, dorky Mark. Just a few pills, that's all it takes.'  Matt thought to himself as he clenched the pill bottle in his hands, his eyes tightly shut. He slid down against the closet wall, pulling his knees up to his chest. This day started out as normal as any other day, until Mark realized he forgot to take his meds.

Earlier that day...

"You wanna go to Applebee's for lunch?" Mark asks out of nowhere. Matt looked up from his laptop and furrowed his eyebrows. "We have sandwiches in the refrigerator. I think we'll be fine." He chuckles. Mark shrugs, "Applebee's would be nice. It's a nice place. They have good food. The waiters are usually nice and-" Matt sighed and rolled his eyes, "Fine, we'll go to Applebee's." Mark chuckled.

"Why did you suddenly just want to come here?" Matt asked Mark. He shrugged, "I don't know. I just felt like we needed this. I haven't seen you off of that computer in a while and you seemed like you needed a break." He said. Matt smiled.

When they finished their food and payed for it, they decided to drive to a mountain to watch the sunset.

"And we are here. After you, my good sir." Mark said. Matt chuckled, "Why thank you."  He opened his own door then walked over to the edge of the mountain, Mark following him.

They were sitting in a comfortable silence when a thought dawned on Mark. The smile faded from his face as he felt around his jacket for his pills, "Uh oh...no, no, no, no, no." He ran back to the car looking everywhere for anything.

Matt furrowed his eyebrows, "Mark? What's wrong?" He got up and walked towards Mark. Mark ran a hand through his hair, "We, uh, I need to get back home right now. O-Or as soon as possible. C-Can you d-drive?" He asked. "Um, okay." Matt grabbed the keys and drove them home as fast as he could, with speed limits and all.

Mark ran into the house before Matt could even park the car. He ran to the restroom and locked himself in, just to be careful not to hurt Matt. He looked for his pills hastily.

"Uh, are you okay?" Matt asked, knocking on the door. "Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry, that happens sometimes if I'm not careful." Mark came out smiling slightly. "Okay, you're sure?" He nodded and started to walk away. Matt furrowed his eyebrows a little as he stood there, 'What was all that about?' He wondered. He felt a warm body behind his and he gasped. "Unless, of course, you meant to ask if I am the same Mark, then the answer's no." Mark whispered into Matt's ear as he put a knife to his throat. Everything around Matt was suddenly dark. No light. "M-Mark?"

Mark chuckled darkly, "If I were that geek, I wouldn't have this knife towards your throat, would I? Call me, uh, Dark. Yeah, call me Dark." He said. "W-Where's Mark?" Matt asked shakily. "He's tried to keep me in the dark, away from all this. But he can't. He can be so forgetful sometimes, and wouldn't you know it, he forgot to take his pills today."

Matt took this as an opportunity and elbowed him in the gut. He ran for his bedroom upstairs. He went into the bathroom across the hall, quickly got Mark's pills, and, just as Mark- wait, no...Dark was about to grab his shirt, he slammed the door and quickly locked it.

And that bring us to now, as in, where we were at the beginning...

"Dammit, Mark." He mumbled to himself.

"Matt, come out of there." He heard Dark jiggling the door knob. "Matt? What's going on? Oh god, I forgot to take my pills again, didn't I? Look, I'm better now. Just open the door and we'll sort all this out. Come one, Matty, don't you trust me?" There was a moment of silence. "Let me in, Matt! Open the damn door!"

Then, he heard the door bang as Dark was trying to kick it down, luckily Matt barricaded it. "Mark has tried to keep me away for years but I finally took control Do you know how long it's been? Four years. Four goddamn years! Yeah, since he met you, in person, that is. He had obsessively watched every single one of your videos. He knew he loved you since the first time he saw you. Touching, isn't it?"

Dark finally broke the door and moved the desk Matt used out of the way. "Matt. Where are you?" He teased. He went to closet, knowing he was there when he heard him close the door earlier.

"You know you just can't escape me." He opened the door, but was met with a small Freddy Fazbear plushie. He furrowed his eyebrows, "What the-" Suddenly, he was hit in the back of the head with a chair.

"No, I can't. Neither can you." Matt said. He got down on his knees onto Dark, holding him down as he shoved two of the pills into his mouth. He kept his hand on Dark's mouth to keep them in his mouth. He squirmed underneath Matt then he knocked out. "Mark? Mark, wake up." Matt put the bottle down and removed his hand from Mark's face. "Mark?"

Mark slowly woke up, "M-Matt? W-What happened?" Matt sighed in relief as Mark looked around, confused. Matt got off of him and offered him a hand to get up. He accepted and rubbed the back of his head, wincing when he went over the bump now forming. "Wait, I didn't hurt you, did I?" He asked. Matt shook his head with a smile, "No, you didn't. And next time, please remember to take your damn pills." They chuckled. Mark grabbed a hold of both of Matt's hands as he got closer, "Of course." He moved in and kissed him on the lips.

Hope you enjoyed it, whoever may be reading, which I doubt is anyone. But if you are, hopefully you don't want to come to my house and shoot me until I'm a big pile of nothing because it was a horrible ending, but yeah.
