It's been three days since my dad left, and along with groceries I had enough money to go out and buy myself school supplies. I bought a new Jansport backpack, a new binder, six folders, about ten notebooks, a huge box of pencils, a few eraser tops, some pens and markers of different colors, sticky notes, and a ruler. So pretty much just the basic stuff.

I started school in the morning so I set my alarm on my phone for 5 am. Giving me enough time to get dressed, do hair, get everything together, and pack a lunch. After I showered and brushed my hair, putting it in a tight French braid so it would be curly tomorrow and all I'd have to do is adjust it to how I like by making the curls more prominent with my wand. I brushed my teeth and put in my night guard. I removed my towel and replaced it with soft cotton purple pajamas.

As I laid in bed I thought about my dad. Wondering what he was up to right about now. I also stressed about my first day of school tomorrow. I just liked to stay quiet for the first week. From what I found online about this school is that they have two different kinds of days, they call A days and B days. A days consist of periods 1-3 including homeroom. B days consist of periods 4-6 also including homeroom. The only day we won't have home room is on Wednesdays, which are apparently "late start" days, and school doesn't start for 45 minutes later than usual.

With my mind busy as all these thoughts ran through it, I knew I'd never get any sleep. So in order to block out my thoughts, I turned on the radio. I put on some classical music to lull me to sleep. And it took over 15 minutes later, as I felt my self drift off into a beautiful dreamless calming slumber.

I woke to the sound of my alarm going off, I wanted so bad to turn it off and roll over. But I knew if I did, I'd miss my first day at school so I laid there listening to it stretching and rubbing the sleepiness out of my eyes. Once I had sat up and swung my feet over the edge of the bed, I turned off the annoying sound and got dressed. My choice of outfit being a black tank top with a pink off-both-shoulders sweater, that had a sparkling silver heart etched onto it and stopped before my belly button (hence the black tank). A pair of Jean cut-offs and my favorite knee high black chunky boots.

After I was dressed I stepped into the bathroom and removed my French braid, separating the curls and using my wand to adjust them to how I wanted before pulling a few of the strand on the side back into a little black sparkly bow clip, to keep my hair back. Then I headed for the kitchen, and grabbed a granola bar to tide me over during class until lunch time. I just couldn't eat this early. Then I made a sandwich and put some grapes in a little container I also added a juice box. Just because I'm in highschool doesn't mean I have to give up such a convenient drink for lunch. Last but not least I added the small ice pack meant to keep my lunch cold, hopefully.

I went back to my room to grab my back pack. Then I stepped out into the cool breezy morning air, and got in my car. Today was gonna be a long and painful day. I could feel it.

"I'll be right with you miss." The lady at the admissions office said. Then continued to type a few more things into her computer. "Okay, what can I do you for?" She said optimistically.

"Well, I am new to this school so I need my schedule and I'd like to make sure everything is in order." I spoke tiredly with as much politeness as I could muster.

"Okay, I'll need your name grade and for you to sign a few papers." She began looking through a file to get the papers I needed to sign, obviously a routine thing.

"My name is Viora-Drayon Elizabeth Grace Gregorian, and I'm a Junior this year." I smiled.

"That's quite a name you got there, would you like a shadow?" She complemented.
