A solemn sadness with a cold shiver,
A warmth missing as my lip quiver.
Followed by shadows of bitter self esteem;
Shadows of insecurity loud as they scream.
Black tinted tears staining my face with strands,
Falling frequently as they decorate my hands.
Many fights I have battled; many wars I have won,
I can never win the ones where you are completely gone.
A strength I need to full my soul,
But energy is lost with my heart with a hole.
Like roses wilt so does my glow,
Till then it is a silent wait in the moonlight by my window.
