Eleven victims, eleven people dead, eleven people who did nothing wrong, eleven peole who had their lives cut short. The Ghost was responsbile for all of this, he's the one that took all those lives. He should be rotting in a cell for the rest of his life. But than agian we don't call him The Ghost for anything. "Henry we need to tell the public that The Ghost is still out there" Daren argued for the hunderedth time today.
"No Daren" Henry said firmly.
"No what do you mean no? Do you want another person to die" Daren asked.
This is gonna go no where, I don't even know why he tries sometimes. "No of course not" Herny said quickly.
"Well that's what is going to happen if YOU blind the public" Daren snapped. Okay he did have a good point.
"Luke tell Zena to call a press confrence" Henry ordered after a few minutes.
****
Zena called the press confrence and about an hour later reporters overflowed the police department. Herny soon began the confrence and the reporters hands flew up into the air. Henry picked the reporter who was the closest to the back of the room, "Do you have the supects narrowed down" the reported asked. Ah, I knew someone was gonna ask that question. "Well we came to the conclusion that the supects that were in constudy were not The Ghost". Good cover up Henry, go cover up.
A sea of reporters' hands were in the air as soon as Henry was done with his answer. Henry picked on a reporter who this time was closer in the fron of the room. "How do you know that the supects are clear" the reported asked.
"We know our Unsub's proflie and the supects didn't match those descrpitions" Henry stated.
"We urge the public to stay indoors, The Ghost doesn't have a type of victim to target. No one's safe and it would benfit your safety that if you do go out go with a group of people" he added.
Henry picked another reporter, but if you asked me the reporters should've left already. How much more clearer do we need to be? "What type of person do you The Ghost is" the reporter asked. Well that was a good question. "We have no identifactin for the Unsub, right now anyboby can be him. The public has to kepp a watcful eye out" Herny answered.
As you can guess there was another question form another reporter. "Do you have edvince of The Ghost" the reporter asked.
"Police forces are doing everything we can to catch The Ghost, but than agian we don't call him The Ghost for nothing" with that Henry walked out of the confrence and into his office. Chaos and more questions filled the air around us. Soon other police officers back the press out of the police department. As the press was being moved out of the police department. The Ghost was still out there and this press confrence might of encouraged him to kill more.

I was sitting in my when suddenly my cell phone started to ring, when I looked at the caller ID I saw that Amanda, my daughter, was calling me. "Hello" I greeted.
"Hey dad" Amanda greeted back.
"What's up sweetheart" I asked.
"I saw the press confrence".
I knew this would happen, I just knew it. "Aman-" I started to say , but was immdetly cut of by Amanda.
"You lied to me" she said hurt. I couldn't help, but flinch at the pain in her voice. Amanda was a clever girl and knew that the whole press confrence was another another lie to cover up another lie. It hurt so much I was the only person she really had to confide in and I didn't do the same for her.
You see my wife Susie died in a car accident when Amanda was only two years old. Luckly Amanda wasn't in the car with her, she was at the daycare center where Susie was going to pick her up. On her way a drunk driver ran a red light and ran right into Susie's car. Her car then swervived into a tree and died instently. Since Amanda never had a mother she would always come to me with any problem, we trusted each other with anything. I knew that me not telling her this and to top it all off by lieing to her was like a slap in the face.
Once I didn't answer Amada continued "I thought we didn't lie to eachother Father" she snapped. She never calls me father unless she's really, really angry at me. "Amanda let me explain" I begged.
"There's no need I learned everything I needed by just turning on the tv" she stated than ended the call. I looked at the phone for another minute than sighed. My daughter, the one person who I cherish, was mad with me. I don't she was mad maybe betrayed and dissapointed.
Molly's heels clicked agianst the hard wood falls that where in my office before I heard her voice telling me "You have a vistor".
"Why are you telling me and not the recipcenist" I asked.
"Because I saw him out side smoking a cigrette... mostly in my face" she hisses at the last part.
" Ryan's here" I asked.
"Ugh yes" Molly said with a disgusted face.
Yup as you guessed Molly hates Ryan...alot. "I still don't know why you hate him so much" I stated.
"Instics" she announced simply tapping her temple. Soom my office phone started to ring, well that can only mean one thing. "Hello" I said answering the phone.
"Mr.Rush, Mr.Astro is here to see you" the recipcenist, Jane, infromed me.
"Thank you" I said.
One or two minutes later Ryan came into my office with the usual pep in his step. Ryan is my closest friend since the eight grade and were praticaly brothers. "What's up man" Ryan asked taking a seat at the other end of my desk. "Nothing much" I replied.
"Really you a little beaten down" he pointed out.
"I'ven been putting in alot of hours since The Ghost appeared".
"Don't worry you'll caught him. I know you" he assured me.
This is why Ryan is my closest friend, he always knows hos to make me feel better. "I hope so. THis guy might as well be a ghost!" I exclaimed.
"Whay do you say that" he asked.
"Because at every crime scene there's not fingerprints, footprints, DNA or witnesses. It's fustersting" I sighed.
"I can imagine, that's why I'm in the Produce Industery".
"Produce Industrey? Dude you work at Shop Rite in the deil section" I laughed.
"It's the same thing" he aruged.
"Sure and the same thing with me and mall cops, right".
"Excatly". That's when me and him burst out laughing.
****
Ryan left a little over an hour ago and now it's back to work. Well more little sitting on a computer trying to find a type of connection between the eleven victims. Yeah it's not that fun, more like its absoulty broing. But someone has to do it and I rather it be me instead of doing nothing to try to find this monster. As I kept looking I didn't come up with answers only more questions. Like am I going to find anything? Is there even a connection at all? And I wonder if we have some coffe.
As I was about to give up I got a notifaction that said I had an E-mail. So after logging into my E-mail I had to re-read it about ten times. The E-mail read:
Dear Dectivie Rush,
I know your looking for me, but you should really give up already. You have nothing so what's the point? Excatly there is none. You have nothing. And your sadly mistaken if you thing this E-mail id going to lead to my where abouts or any other information about me. Remember they don't call me The Ghost for nothing. Don't look at what you can see look at what you can't, that's what I do. And always keep in mind I'm everywhere at once.
Sincerly,
The Ghost
There was an attachment at the E-mail and when I clicked on it I saw a picture of me sitting in my office today and one of Amanda walking home from school with her friends. He just crossed the line bringing Amanda into this.
