Chapter 8

I pulled up to the hospital and rushed Erich in "what happend" said the doctor "he ate to much...,he got fucking shot what does it look like" said Lauren "ok get him to the ER!" Yelled the doctor to a nurse they took him there. About 20 minutes later the nurse rushed out and told us that he needed surgery because the man shot his artery but I stopped hearing after the word surgery. Hot tears rolled down my face Lauren grabbed me and held me tight and I cried some more I grabbed Lauren back and held her tight and we fell asleep.
Four hours later
Lauren got up and went to get a cup of coffee. She came back with 3 cups of steaming hot coffee and woke me and Blake up I chugged the coffee down and threw the plastic cup away. The doctor came up to me when I threw it away "is he okay???" I asked persistently "the surgery didn't go as planned he lost a lot of blood and we don't know if he's going to wake back up" I collapsed to the floor in tears Laura ran over to me and the doctor walked away and Lauren grabbed me and held me tight "is he okay" she asked hesitantly "I don't know...,the doctor said he might not wake up" Lauren started to tear up. I walked to his room...,there he was hooked up to abunch of machines I pulled up a chair beside him and grabbed his hand and put my head on him and stared to sob out words "Erich please stay alive I can't loose you I can't I need you please Erich please". I reached over him and hugged him "get your tits out my face" he mumbled out "THANK GOD" I yelled Lauren ran in there and hugged Erich. Blake was still asleep but Lauren and I were freaking out in there. "Can I go to sleep" Erich said "yea I guess" I said.
Erich's pov
I fell asleep for about an hour but I couldn't really sleep. Blake walked in when he realized I was awake "I'm sorry I brought you there...I'm sorry I'm guessing you don't want to go out on another date I don't bla-" "shut up and kiss me" I said and
I pulled him in to me and kissed him for a solid 3 minuets. I heard" heels walking through the halls and then they got closer and closer and then they stopped I heard a voice "is this Erich's room" "yes" the nurse said. She walked in "Dinah???.., what are you doing here?" "I heard my brother was shot...,why the fuck else would I be here" she said "I don't know" I said. Dinah came and gave me a hug. And sat down "so how are things?" She said "other than being shot great...,Lacey remember Dinah?" "Hey girl" Dinah said and gave her a hug, "this is Lauren Lacey's girlfriend...,and this is Blake my boyfriend" "nice to meet y'all" Dinah said "you to" said Lauren and Blake. "I'm going to bed y'all goodnight..., well you could say morning" they all left except for Blake he stayed beside me and held on to me and went to sleep with me. I'm glad to be alive I thought to myself
