Siren woke up in a bed that didn't belong to her, in a house that didnt belong to her, next to a man that didn't belong to her. she quickly got up and began searching for her shorts she wore to the club last night, she stared outside of a window and mumbled,

"I hope we didnt have sex",  as she put her hands in her face.

"we didnt..", the man from last night deep baritone voice scared her. She took the time to actually observe him, sober. She tried to recall all the events from last night and could only remember his name, "Chris? Right", she said pointing a finger, he nodded abd gestured for her to say her name.

She rejected the gesture and kept looking for her stuff, "I washed your clothes, they should be dry in the next 15 minutes" he said getting up and coming behind her, Siren kept looking around for her phone not knowing he was behind her she backed up and jumped at what she felt. He had on white basketball shorts and those didnt help him one bit.

"look it would be kind of easier if we communicated, like if I knew your name" he pressed, Siren finally found what she was looking for and begin calling someone, Christopher just listened,

"Laura, Hi... yea, yes I'm so sorry.. Kaseem is alright correct? Alright I'll be on my way in 20 minutes.. Thank you", she turned around to see nobody was behind her, she headed to the nearest bathroom and brushed her teeth with her finger then went downstairs.
She admired the house for its beauty until she reached the kitchen.

"Can you take me back to the club?", Siren said with an attitude, she didn't like being at anyone's house but hers. Chris grabbed her clothes out of the washer and She put them on as Chris grabbed his keys.

They pulled up to the car and before Siren could hop out, she was pulled back, "so you really not gon let me know your name?", Siren looked back and forth between the club and sighed, "Nicole",  she said.

Chris smiled to himself feeling accomplished. Nicole got out of the car and slammed the door, but Chris realized he never got her number or anything, but he would sure remember that name and face. Nicole.
..
Nicole pulled up to her club and got her money from Bone's office and drove to her homegirl's house. She knocked on the door and a middle aged white woman answered the door, Laura, she was a beautiful andwas raised in the hood. She was good friends with Nicole.

Nicole smiled, "Hey Laura, where's Kaseem?", Laura disappeared for a few second then reappeared with a little boy who was the spitting image of his mother, smooth chocolate skin and beautiful dimples, he was taller than the normal 6 year olds in his class, but that didn't matter to him. Nicole hugged her son and took his hand as they walked to the car and drove home, Nicole made little conversation with her son due to the fact she was so sleepy. As she went inside her home she picked up an invitation that was on the ground.

You're Invited to the wedding dinner of : Mackenzie and Raheim Longway

Nicole smiled to herself as she read the information before throwing the invitation somewhere on the floor inside, she was happy for them, but she didnt want to go back to Texas. There was nothing there for her. And there damn sure no one she wanted to bump into.

Nicole went to her room and invited her son to lay down in her arms, her body became  relaxed. Her son became her peace.
