Tina was officially a hag.

Something in her head always told her that this day was going to come. But she had never really accepted it. And here it was. Finally unfolding before her.

It really hit her when Kurt called her out for vapo-raping his ex-boyfriend. Something about it coming from Kurt really hit her hard. She finally remembered.

Blaine was a flaming, bow-tie wearing homosexual.

And she was a fool.

She stood off to the side as she watched them dance together. Jealousy over took her. She let her eyes wander around to all of her McKinley high friends and alumni.

She saw Rachel and Finn playing with a flower out of the corner of her eye. Both of them completely encompassed by the others every move.

Then she saw Jake and Marley slow dancing on the dance floor besides Blaine. She frowned slightly as she noticed Ryder with flowers in his hand, staring directly at Marley. She couldn't help but sigh and pray that Marley stuck with her gut that night, because Jake was already undressing her with his dark eyes.

She then watched Santana and Quinn hanging all over each other. Both of them were far too drunk to be depending on the other. She laughed gently and hoped that Quinn didn't stick with her gut that night. She needed some more excitement in her new Yale life.

She watched Artie dance with another girl on the dance floor who was also in a wheelchair. She couldn't help but smile as she watched one of her closest friends totally score.

Her stomach suddenly began to actually feel pained. She wanted this. She wanted love. Sure, some of what she was watching wasn't even close to love. It was more lust and desire.

But at that point even that would do.

Thank god Mercedes was a literal angel. The beautiful woman started making her way over to Tina as soon as she saw her eyes wandering over Rachel and Finn.

"Girl you are absolutely crazy if you think I'm just gonna stand here and watch you throw a pity party." She let her hands wander to her hips and looked at her with those eyes.

Tina had seen those eyes before. They were the ones that have pulled her out of self-pity parties since her freshman year.

Mercedes was by far her best girl friend. After all, they were the only two girls in the original glee club besides Cheerios and Rachel Berry. It was easy for them to bond.

"Look Sam is in here looking all types of sexy and I am keeping my cool. And you're over here makin' lovey eyes at every couple in the room cause of that damn warbler."

Tina sighed gently before speaking. Trying to argue. "It's not him though Mercedes I think-"

Mercedes cut her off as she raised her hand to shut her up. "Tee I have known you since you had a stutter and you're gonna tell me you ain't bein' a hag. Honey don't forget I was the hag for the dude he's dancing with"

Tina couldn't help but giggle at the memory. "Okay fine! Something inside me maybe kind of wanted him to be bisexual but that's over." She shook her head slightly. "And don't forget I tried to save you from being his brassy hag."

Mercedes laughed that big genuine laugh that brought Tina back to her punk rock days of belts with chains and dark make up. She would do anything to go back to those days.

Suddenly a new voice popped up behind them. "Listen I know exactly what's going on here."

Both of them turned to find the ever so lovely Rachel Berry behind them. She had just finished her duet with Finn and seemed to be gathering up all her things. Probably to go up to his room. Nice.
