"We're here!" Daniel screamed jumping out of the car.
I climbed out of the car and ran with the boys into IHOP. I guess they like it here? A hostess showed us to a booth where Jack and Zach sat on one side, and Daniel and I in the other. We ordered then waited for our food.
"So." I started. "Tell me about yourselves, I'm curious."
"Well we have all be friends since we started our band a few years ago" Jack started. "We have two other guys in our group too,
Jonah, and Corbyn.""The band is getting really popular." Jack explained.
"Do you guys have anything like interesting?" I asked.
"I was in American Idol." Daniel said.
"Really?" I said, I was pretty shocked they must be good singers.
The food then came and we started eating. I ordered my favorite, chocolate chip pancakes.
"Well how about you?" Zach asked with his mouth full. "You've told us nothing."
"Well, I'm sixteen as you know. I have a identical twin sister that is exactly like me in every single way, except she's dyslexic. I have two parents that don't care about me that much, I technically raised myself. I've always been very mature for my age. I was bullied for being smart. And my birthday is on Wednesday." I said almost out of breath.
"Seriously, we should throw you a party. You only turn seventeen once." Jack said with excitement.
"Yeah, totally." Daniel said. "But we can't have it at the dorm, that shits small."
"We can have it at one of the futurities." Zach suggested. "Some of the guys on my football team crash there."
"Um, that sounds cool." I said hesitant. I didn't know if I wanted to have a extravagant party. I was turning seventeen with a bunch of nineteen year olds. It felt so out of place.
"Come on. Live a little Jacks." Jack said.
"Ok. I guess I need to have some fun, it's college right?" I said. It's college right, I repeated in my head. It's college.
