General POV

(Y/N) had been living in Boston for about eight months now. She moved for her job and then they laid her off two months after she moved. To say she was pissed was an understatement. She left her friends and family for this job and they let her go.

She walked up the stairs to get to her apartment on the sixth floor after her morning run and she unlocked her door, walking inside. Opening the fridge, she grabbed a container of leftover spaghetti and she heated it up in the microwave. She grabbed a fork and walked over to her couch.

She had just turned on the tv to her favorite show when her apartment door swung open and her neighbor Colin came in quickly, shutting the door behind him.

"Seriously Colin? Again? That's five this week,"
(Y/N) said and she rolled her eyes, taking a bite of the spaghetti.

"What? If I don't get any action I get grumpy," Colin said, chuckling. He walked to (Y/N)'s fridge and he grabbed ingredients, making a sandwich for himself, "Damn it (Y/N), I thought you said you were going shopping. You need more turkey."

"Oh I'm sorry I only have enough food to feed myself in my own apartment. What a crime," (Y/N) said and she ate more of her spaghetti.

"I know! You need to buy more, this time I'll be fine with ham, but I need turkey," Colin said.

"Why don't you eat at your own apartment for once?" (Y/N) asked sarcastically.

"Come on (Y/N), you know I can't go back to my apartment until she leaves. It's been eightmonths and you still haven't learned that?" Colin said and he took a bite of the sandwich he made after putting the ingredients away.

"Well maybe if you didn't bring a new girl home every night you wouldn't have to do this," (Y/N) said, her eyes on the tv.

"Maybe I like it because then I can spend some time with you every morning," Colin said with a smirk as he sat down next to (Y/N), "What are we watching today?" He asked as he took another bite of his sandwich.

"Colin," (Y/N) warned with the flirting, "I still need to catch up on The Office," she told him.

"What? I can't say that I enjoy spending time with you, a very beautiful woman I might add," Colin said.

"Colin, I've told you a million times but I'll tell you again because you apparently can't listen for shit. I am not sleeping with you. I know you and how you are with women. I'm not going to become the next women," (Y/N) said before getting up and walking to her kitchen.

"Come on! You won't even give me a chance?" Colin asked and he got up and walked after her, his pants hanging low on his waist.

"Did you not hear a word I fucking said?" (Y/N) asked as she cleaned the container that had spaghetti in it.

"I did but I asked a question. You won't even give me a chance (Y/N). You're not giving me a chance, I at least deserve a chance!" Colin said.

"Colin, I listen to you having sex with a new girl practically every night. Forgive me if I don't wanna become one of those girls who you fuck and then never speak to again," (Y/N) said and she turned to walk back to her couch but she bumped into Colin and found herself unable to get out of his grasp.

"You wouldn't be one of those girls (Y/N). I would never stop talking to you. I really like you (Y/N), can you please at least give me a chance?" Colin asked, his eyes almost begged her to say yes.

(Y/N) bit her lip and she sighed softly, looking away from his eyes, "I don't know. I can't get hurt again like I did before..." she said, tears forming in her eyes.

Colin gently lifted her chin and he looked down at her, "What happened? You never told me."

(Y/N) sniffled and she wiped a tear that fell, "Three years ago I was engaged. I thought he was the one for me, but the night before the wedding, I found him sleeping with my maid of honor. I called off the wedding and I moved back with my parents because we were sharing an apartment. We dated for three years before he proposed."

Colin frowned as he listened and as he watched the tears start to fall from her eyes. He gently wiped her tears with his thumbs, "(Y/N) if you give me a chance I can prove that I would never ever do that to you."

(Y/N) looked up at him and she bit her lip, "Colin, I really do like you. I have for a while now, I'm just so afraid of getting hurt again. I don't want to hate you."

"I won't give you the chance to hate me. I won't hurt you, I promise. Just give me a chance," Colin said, his eyes begging her.

(Y/N) sniffled and she wiped the remainder of her tears before stepping back and getting out of his grip, "I-I don't know if I can. You just had a girl at your apartment last night Colin."

Colin chuckled softly and he smiled at her.

"What's so funny?" (Y/N) asked, starting to get a little angry.

"(Y/N) I haven't brought a girl home in a few months. I've been trying to prove to you that I can change and be a relationship guy," Colin smiled.

"But I heard moaning, I heard you," (Y/N) said confused, her brows furrowed.

"I was watching porn," Colin shrugged, "Like I said, I haven't brought a woman home in a few months. I haven't had sex in a few months (Y/N). I'm serious when I say I like you."

(Y/N) smiled a bit and she giggled softly before punching his chest, "Why didn't you tell me?! You ass!"

Colin chuckled and he wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her to his chest, "I guess I probably should've told you. But hey you know now. So will you give me a chance? Please?"

(Y/N) giggled and she cupped his face, bringing him down to her level and she kissed him softly, draping her arms around his neck.

Colin smiled and he wrapped his arms tighter around her and he held her close, kissing her back. After a few moments, he rest his forehead on hers, "So I take that as a yes?"

(Y/N) giggled and she nodded, "Did I or did I not just kiss you, you shithead?"

"Awe already starting with the pet names. I love it," Colin joked and he laughed when (Y/N) hit his chest again. He smirked and then he picked her up and he brought her to the couch, placing her down and starting to tickle her.

(Y/N) laughed and she squirmed, trying to get out from under him as he tickled her, "Stop it! That tickles!"

"That's the point!" Colin laughed as he tickled her. After a few minutes, he stopped tickling her and he held her close to him before flipping them so she was laying on his chest.

(Y/N) smiled and she rest her head on his chest and she held one of his hands, lacing their fingers together.

Colin smiled and he kissed her head, squeezing her hand softly, "I promise you won't regret it."

"I better not Colin Shea," (Y/N) giggled and she kissed his cheek before laying her head back on his chest. She closed her eyes and she listened to the sound of his heart beating. Soon she was lulled to sleep.

Colin smiled and he looked down at (Y/N) as she slept soundly, her head rested on his chest. He hummed to himself and he was glad that she decided to give him a chance. He made it his mission to show her he meant every word he said. He was going to treat her how she deserved to be treated and show her how important she was to him.

Hey y'all! Another one shot! I'm getting my writing groove back!
Let me know what y'all think of this one. It's my first time writing Colin Shea but I think it turned out pretty good.
