207 days before heartbreak
Day 2: She's RealToday I woke up with a smile on my face which hasn't happened in ages, I was actually happy to go to school today.
First period was English and I'm not a big fan of English class, my teacher is just so boring but there was one thing I was excited about and that was seeing Molly. She and I take all the same classes although she takes art class and I don't, I still get to see her all day everyday. When I got to class she was sitting on the empty seat next to mine. I stood there looking at her for awhile until she looked at me and smiled, I smiled back at her and went to sit down. I asked her why she keeps sitting next to me and she said " because you don't have the guts to come sit next to me even though you really want to", I responded with a wow although I knew she was right.
At break I asked Molly why Abbey Jetson referred to her as friend and also why people seem to know who she is , she told me that she would tell me later.
It was free period for me but Molly was in her art class, I was curious to see her art so I snuck into her art class were the teacher doesn't care about stowaways. I sat right behind Molly, she hadn't seen me yet. The teacher told them to paint something that made them happy, Molly spent the entire first half of the period starring at the canvass but then when she finally decided to paint something she took her time and painted the most realistic painting of the moon I had ever seen, I'm talking Da Vinci levels of realistic. I wondered why the moon made her happy, the teacher looked at the paintings and he'd put the grade in the top left corner of the paint board. I saw as he started with the first kid in the front row who had a bad painting of a gorilla, he was given a D. The next kid had a painting of a mermaid which was given an F. One of the coolest paintings was by Margaret Donnell, she painted an array of comic book symbols like superman's symbol and the bat on Batman's chest and even the spider on Spiderman's back. She got what I call an injustice of a grade she got a B+. When the teacher finally reached Molly I was so nervous as if it was my painting that was being graded. When he got to her he looked at the painting and asked why something so plain when most people in the class was using so much paint and she responded with a simple shrug of her shoulders which I found so cute. The teacher took a breath and took his red pen and gave Molly a grade I thought she didn't deserve, he gave her an F.
At lunch Molly and I listened to classical music which made us really sleepy so after lunch we were both sleeping in History class. When the janitor woke me up I was so surprised that there was no one i n class but the janitor,Molly and I. I woke Molly up and she too was surprised but at the fact that no one woke us up when leaving, we looked at each other and just started to laugh.
We walked to the door and as we approached the main entrance I could see my mom and I said that out loud and molly said she'd catch up with me after I offered her lift home where ever it was. I went to the car we waited for her for about an hour, mom said " Nancy and I are kinda tired and hungry, I'm sorry honey I don't think she's coming". I agreed and we went home.
Later that night the room opposite mine in the neighbour's house was making a lot of noise and I really couldn't sleep so I got out of bed and went to the window to yell at the person making all the noise. Then the weirdest thing happened Molly came to the window in only her bra and panties. I then jumped back in bed with my heart racing, " I'm in so much trouble " I thought to myself.
