Jordis placed a bottle of Alto wine in front of her Thane and poured a generous measure of the wine into a goblet before passing it to her. She hadn't seen the Dragonborn for quite some time, and she loved being in her company.
"Thanks Jordis. Have one for yourself."
Jordis beamed at Morgan and did as asked, sitting down opposite her and pouring some wine for herself. She smiled when she saw Morgan's exhausted expression.
"Travelling too much again, my Thane?"
"Please, just Morgan," Morgan insisted. "We have known each other for some time now and I consider you a friend, Jordis."
"Thank you," Jordis breathed happily.
"I'm not tired, I'm just thinking too much right now. It's a shame alcohol cannot get me drunk anymore."
"Can I help?" Jordis asked, sipping some of her wine.
Morgan smiled in thanks and shook her head.
"It's nothing, don't mind me."
Jordis cocked her head and said nothing as they drank. She continued to watch the Dragonborn as she drank though, and she could see that whatever was on Morgan's conscious was weighing heavily on her. Vampire or no, she could see that Morgan was tired mentally and needed proper rest.
"I'm off to bed. Have a good rest Morgan...I worry about you, you know."
Morgan looked up and nodded.
"Thank you Jordis. You're a good friend. Have a good sleep and I will see you in the morning."
Morgan watched as her housecarl climbed the stairs within Proudspire manor until she went out of view and then rubbed her eyes with her knuckles.
I am tired in some manner. Too much thinking most likely.
She snorted. She knew it wasn't from such a thing, but facing the truth was much less appealing. But even as she lay her head on the table and closed her eyes, that fear came back into her mind.
That was a foolish thing I did. I shouldn't have enjoyed that kiss as much as I did. Serana's kisses are much better though, every time her lips touches me anywhere, it's like getting a small shock. But Elisif's was gentler....why the fuck am I thinking about this? Serana is mine, and I love her more than anything. She means more to me than being able to absorb a dragon's soul, and that is a feeling like no other.
Morgan breathed out slowly, her arms keeping her head off the cold table.
So, what do I do? Do I return to the Sanctuary and tell Serana what happened, and pray that she listens? And if she leaves me, what do I do then? Or do I return and say nothing? And create another secret in the Aurelius line?
Morgan knew she was falling into a slumber and she welcomed it.
Hopefully, I wont dream about anything at all.
"My love."
Morgan sighed as this whisper brushed past her right ear.
"I love you."
This whisper was on her other side, and she made to sit up in shock, but a weight on her stomach prevented her from doing so. She looked to her right, and saw Aela lying there, wearing nothing at all. She stared at her muscular body and she shivered in anticipation.
"I am all yours, Dragonborn," Aela winked, wrapping an arm around her neck and nuzzling her nose into the side of Morgan's neck.
Morgan whimpered in delight but managed to look to her left, and blinked when the amused face of Elisif the Fair swam into view. She also wore no clothing, and her arm also snaked around Morgan's neck before grasping Aela's forearm.
