Morgan's eyelids fluttered as she fought for consciousness. The silver light filtered through her laden lids in soft pastels. Each of her eyelids felt as though they weighed a thousand pounds. It was almost painful for her to move them. The sterling resplendence filled her eyes and a silhouette appeared in her vision.
"Serana...?" Her hoarse voice croaked the solitary word out.
"No my sweet Champion, I am not your Love."
The words floated to her ears carried on the wing beats with splendour.
Morgan struggled against the lustrous light, trying to focus on the woman in front of her. Her vision split and for a second she saw two silhouettes. Her vision finally focused on the pale haired beauty. The blush rose crown adorned the woman's head, worn over her pale hair. Her cerulean eyes were full of caring set in her moonlight pale face.
Morgan blinked in disbelief.
"Welcome to Moonshadow, my beautiful one." The pale face of the woman before her filled with the Daedric Prince's smile. The woman was so blindingly beautiful, it made Morgan ache to look at her.
Morgan for a long while took in her every detail. The length of her hair, the colour of her eyes, the pinkness of her lips... each detail exquisite and flawless. The Prince seemed to almost be amused, but the concern still showed in her eyes.
"Moonshadow...?" Morgan barely managed the second word.
Azura simply nodded and motioned to the large room around her. "You are with me, in my castle, Morgan."
Morgan glanced around the room. The light was so bright she felt blinded by it. She covered her eyes as Azura moved to give her a better view.
The argentite room was filled with beautiful objects she almost couldn't distinguish. The pastel light that filtered through paned glass, was every colour including soft white. The luster it brought out from the walls and objects of the room gave her the sense that everything was made of silver.
Morgan looked back at Azura. "How did I get here?" Morgan's throat felt raw. She looked back into the Prince's eyes and saw the cold fury filling them. Morgan chanced moving in the slightest only to feel the restraining hand push against her, the smooth skin of Azura's palm resting on Morgan's collarbone.
"You my, dear one, were forcibly sent here. But, that is of no concern of yours." A silver goblet appeared in the air next to Morgan's face. "Drink this and rest. It will help you heal."
Morgan reached out, taking the floating goblet and looking at the golden ichor. "What is it?"
"Blood of a Winged Twilight... her blood will heal you."
Azura moved back and Morgan caught her hand. "Why are you doing this for me?"
Azura looked down at her hand and Morgan made to move, but Azura held her gently in place with a gentle smile. "You gave my Priest comfort without question. Though you are a creation of a Daughter of Coldharbour, your heart and compassion for that which is mine is true. You, Morgan, are my Champion. For that, you will always have my favour."
Morgan sat up quickly and her head spun. Her muscles screamed in protest and she slumped back into the pillows. Azura gently sat at the edge of the bed, resting a hand on Morgan's forehead.
"Not so fast, my impatient one. Please... drink." Azura pressed the goblet to her lips and Morgan drank deeply. Her eyelids instantly growing heavy, once more. "Now, rest. You are safe with me..."
Morgan sank back into sleep.
Morgan couldn't help staring at everything as she walked. The Daedra that fluttered next to her kept smiling at her and batting her eyelashes at Morgan. The silver hues of the majestic castle were amazing. So much so, she barely noticed the Winged Twilight, when she finally did, she couldn't help but find it amusing.
