"We need to get out of here." Mark said, but before we could the building was flooded with other men pointing guns at us.
We backed away as far as we could. I got in front of Christina and Mark so that they wouldn't get hit first. Before they started shooting the door came open. A bright white light erupted from it as someone walked in. The men with the guns turned to the person as Mark, Christina, and I hid behind the chair the unconscious killer was in. Just then the men started shooting at the unwelcome guest, but the bullets only fell to the floor, not even phasing them. One of the men ran at him with a knife, but the guest picked them up and threw them into some of the other shooters. After almost all the shooters were knocked out, I suddenly realized who it was. I got up and walked up to him.
"You're that guy..."
"Yeah. I guess I am huh?" He chuckled as he turned my way.
"Morgan, you know him?" asked Christina, who was now standing behind me with Mark.
"He gave me money for the hotel." I replied "But how did you..."
Before I could ask angel wings shot out from his back. I stood in amazement. My mouth gaped open. Both Christina and Mark were also surprised.
"Wow. You're an..."
"Yep." He answered before I asked.
"From..." I pointed up.
"That's pretty much where most angels like me are from." He answered again.
"This is so amazing." Christina said "I don't know what to say."
But before anyone could say anything we heard a clap coming from the shadows.
"Oh bravo. What a great show." They said walking from the shadows to reveal themselves.
"You!" I said angrily.
"Yes, it's me." He said "The man that made all of this possible."
"Who are you?" asked Mark.
"I am pretty much the reason all of you are still alive."
"No he's not." said the angel crossing his arms.
"What?!?"
"You were trying to kill them."
"That's not true." The man in the black started "I brought him back to save her. Now look... they got what they wanted."
"Morgan? What is he talking about?" Christina asked.
I looked down at the floor. I didn't know how to tell her.
"Christina... I came from a different timeline... but in that timeline... you were shot and killed..."
"What?" both Christina and Mark said with shock.
"He came to me in my room... he brought me back here to save you. But every time I tried to save you someone else got hurt or killed and I didn't want that to happen..."
The angel placed his hand on my shoulder. I looked at him, remembering what he told me before.
"No! No! NO!!!" the other man shouted "You WILL stay here, even if I have to make you stay here!"
The room suddenly got darker. I ran to Christina and Mark, as the angel got in front of us. The other man started growing, and turning into a beast.
"You will not ruin my plan!" He shouted in a much deeper and gruffer voice.
"It's not YOUR plan." said the angel.
Just then a light pierced through the beast's chest.
"No!" He roared, as more lights pierced through him making him disappear "NOOOooooo.........."
The darkness in the room fled, and it was now lighter than before.
"It's time to go." the angel said.
"Wait." Christina said running up to me "Thank you. I know you wanted to help me... and I thank you."
She took my hand and kissed me.
"I'll miss you." I told her.
"I'll be in a better place." She smiled as tears of joy ran down her face.
"I'll see you there." I smiled, kissing her once again and finishing off with a hug.
"Thanks man." Mark said after the hug.
"No need to thank me." I said looking back at the angel.
After saying goodbye to Christina and Mark I left with the angel. I ended up back in my room before any of this happened.
"Thank you God. Thank you."
I turned around and looked at the dresser. I saw the Triforce necklace sitting there.
