"Clara" my mum yelled up the stairs a little too load for my hearing, "I'm gunna take you too school if you're not down in 5 minutes they you're walking"

"Coming mum" I yelled with as much force as I could muster before running with inhuman speed down the 2 flights if stairs. being the alphas daughter gave you perks but having to dress up and all if the flights of stairs really draws away from that fact.

I raced out if the driveway and hopped into my mums stylish car. I can't wait for my 16th birthday, which happens to be tomorrow, then I can finally drive my black Ferrari that I know my dad has bought me, things don't get kept quiet in our pack.

I buckled up and then the drive started. me and my mother don't really talk on the way to school age knows my nervousness through the pack link and knows that I Like things quiet and calm.

once we pulled up to the school gates I pecked my mum in the cheek and jumped out of the car onto the pavement. I watched my mum drive away and silently wished that I could go with her.

I swung my polka dot back pack higher on my back and tightly couched the handles fiddling with the straps to calm my nervs.

I instantly saw my best friend lily talking to her mate Jacob. he was gamma of the neighbouring pack. they were laughing and joking and I thought lily would look straight past me as I was nothing special but she excitedly waved me over and she then showered me with love and attention.

"oh my god, you get to find your mate tomorrow" she looked at my shocked expression "what? all of the alphas and their beta, gamma and delta's are coming to your party and your mate WILL be one of them" her smile instantly widened "that means DOUBLE DATES" she exitedly squealed and I laughed with her. its true that mates are a huge deal but I'm not sure if I can let somebody new into my life yet.
