".....Up next from Lima, Ohio, McKinely High's New Directions!" The announcer says.

"You can do this Sam!" Ryley says.

"I'll do this song proud." Sam says and grabs his guitar.

He starts to strum and walks out.

"Girl, I say, if only life would lean our way,

And time would be a distant memory, nobody could tell us to stay,

Everyone walks out in pairs:

Puck - Ryley

Finn - Rachel

Mike - Tina

Artie - Sugar

Rory - Brittany

Kurt - Mercedes

Blaine - Santana

Sam continues the song with the group singing back up.

Sam bows, places guitar to the side of the stage and joins the group.

Blaine steps foward.

You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness

Like resignation to the end, always the end

So when we found that we could not make sense

Ryley steps forward, singing:

Blaine stares at Ryley, who's facing him. He sings:

"But you didn't have to cut me off

The crowd cheers as Blaine takes Ryley's hand for a bow. The New Directions join the bow.

"......Vocal Adrenaline!" The announcer shouts. Vocal Adrenaline are the last group performing.

Vocal Adrenaline go on stage and someone steps forward. Their all wearing hoodies. The girl who steps forward pulls her hood down.

"Quinn!" Ryley says.
