Jafael Endgame?

What Now??

I opened the door it was Rafael. He looked shocked as if he saw a ghost. I invited him in and he sat on the couch. I looked at him and all I could think about was how much I wanted to go straight at to him and tell him exactly how I felt.

"Petra has been shot she in a critical situation and the twins are crying themselves to sleep, I don't know what to do. The only person I thought of was you." he said

I thought how cute but then that was over-runned by the thought of Petra being shot.

"How? I mean What? No you got to go see her I mean you two was going out you're the only one that be able to see if she is alright." I said as quickly as possible.

"Chuck is with her that is the reason we broke up officially I caught her and him  in the staff only part, it is obvious she still likes him." he said with this upsetting look on his face. I put my hand on his leg to tell him I'm there for him but he got up and said he better go check on the twins and he would come and pick up Mateo for school in the morning.

Absolutely gutted. That was my chance to finally make a move but I wasted. I didn't want to look desperate but what if we never get to that stage and he goes back to Petra. Anyway I'm going into my room and start writing a few pages of a new novel.

The next morning I had a stride in the way I walked I was feeling positive. I got Mateo dressed and ready to go and we sat down to eat some breakfast and my phone beeped.

"Hi Jane, Nice bumping into you last night. Wanna catch-up over a coffee later!

- Adam"
