Mistuki is the ONLY child of Orochimaru, one of the original legendary Sannin. Orochimaru sends his son to Konoha to have a normal life and that he will be safe from any enemies to try and kill him.

Finding Mitsuki what he likes for his birthday is kinda difficult, he didn't buy anything for him since they started dating. Of course they went on a few dates but to lunch, walking around and talking, and going to the amusement park.
So he went into different kinds of shops and looked around, until he saw it. A necklace. A snake necklace.

He remembered, Mitsuki is very found of snakes. He wanted something not to serious and didn't want to scare Mitsuki away.
But he believe this is his way to complete commitment. He swore a promise to stay faithful to Mitsuki forever.
His dad said "making a promise is serious which means you never back down on your promise."
This is the promise he will kept forever.
He purchased the necklace and the lady wrapped it up in a nice bright sky blue with a white ribbon.
He went home to see his mom cooking dinner, miso soup, fish, rice, and vegetables. A nice traditional meal.
Mitsuki is sitting down on his living room, reading a book his family is coming to visit him again for his birthday, that includes his mom: Tsuande.
He couldn't wait to see his parents together and maybe go out just the four of them, his father Orochimaru, mother Tsunade, brother Motsuki, and himself.
Then maybe go out with Boruto before his brother threatens him about staying faithful to him. Mitsuki is like that, Mitsuki is protective of Mitsuki and doesn't want him to see him hurt.
