ENG: So here is a thing about minimalism, or, like, everything "simple" in design. IT IS HARD. Don't be fooled. The more easy and minimalistic something looks, the more hard work, brainstorming, sleepless nights and dead ends it took to get there. Because you can get away with a lot while hiding in the crowd, but not when you are standing on the empty stage. You get my metaphor? Minimalistic means that every small detail has to be perfect.
(Forget that cute cover up there. I'm talking object design and graphic design now, in general. Just because.)
This is the most ironic thing in design – nothing is harder than coming up with a simple idea.
PL: Sprawy z minimalizmem lub, generalnie rzecz biorąc, wszystkim co jest "proste" w designie mają się następująco: JEST TO COŚ TRUDNEGO. Nie dajcie się zwieść. Im bardziej minimalistyczne coś jest, tym więcej ciężkiej pracy, burz mózgów, nieprzespanych nocy i ślepych zaułków wymagało stworzenie tego. Ponieważ znacznie łatwiej nam ujść z czymś na sucho kiedy stoimy w tłumie, niż gdy znajdujemy się na pustej scenie. Rozumiecie moją metaforę? Minimalizm oznacza, że każdy najdrobniejszy detal musi być idealny.
(Zapomnijcie o tej uroczej okładce na górze. Gadam sobie teraz o wzornictwie przemysłowym i projektowaniu graficznym, tak ogólnie. Bo mogę).
To najbardziej ironiczna sprawa w designie – nie ma nic trudniejszego niż wpadnięcie na prosty pomysł.
