In the midst of tragedy

We can do this?!!

Everyone wants some hope when you go to war , you want to make sure you make it out alive for your family , your children, people who care. Sometimes it's hard to take the life of someone else because of their families but you have to do what you have to do.                              I reloaded my weapon and opened the front door . I had taken the front which is extremely dangerous. I began firing. There was a woman behind the desk she looked terrified. " get down on the ground!!" I yelled " please I have family!" She pleaded " I won't hurt you just get behind the desk , you say a word I'll shoot you understood? " I understand she climbs under her desk and keeps quite. " if only there was a way to communicate! It would be so much easier! " I thought to myself. If only mark was here . He would be holding his gun looking handsome and we would get to start our life together. Then I seen him laying there bleeding out and I didn't say I love you back. I could never forgive myself for letting me not say it right then . A soldier came around the corner and I shot him. I began to cry. " watch out !!!" I heard a voice behind me then a gun shot. I turned around and the woman had a gun in her hand and a man with a hammer lay on the ground behind me. I breathed a sigh of relief and said thank you. She looked at me and said " you spared my life when you could have killed me , I wanted to do the same for you. " I don't want to kill anyone! " I cried " hey your doing exactly what I would have done if I were in your shoes. " don't feel bad their dushbags " she adds " what's your name?" I ask her she smiles and replies " Courtney Holland " well court help me " I say as I shot another soldier she gets behind me as we walk through the building. I heard so many shots . I finally found Anne laying on her back she was crying. " Anne!! I cried " baby girl your gonna be ok!" I cradled her in my arms . Courtney ran off and when she came back she said " I'm a nurse my father was a doctor " is she gonna be ok! I cry " she's all I have left! " it's not as bad as it looks I'll fix her while you keep people off of us . I reluctantly let go of my sister and stood guard. I'd let no one hurt her again.
