Lucas p.o.v
Maya and I were talking about names when she suddenly started laughing.
"What's so funny? " I asked her
"I was just thinking about that stupid dare you and Zay did last year, and of how that was the start of our relationship " she explained.
"Oh, well don't forget the little plan that our parents had. That dare wouldn't of happened if it wasn't for the plan" I told her. "Yeah, and we wouldn't have this little girl if that didn't happen " she said and placed her hand on her stomach.
"Wait lucas" maya said quickly. "Huh" I said not really paying attention.
"Layla " she said. "what" I asked looking at her. "We should name her layla " she said excitedly. "Oh..um..you sure?" I asked.
"What don't you like it" she asked getting upset. "Of course I like it, I was just making sure that's what you wanted" I quickly said. "oh, well yes, I think we just figured out a name" she said with a smile.
"Okay, well now on to middle names" I said.
"Let's do that later" Maya said.
Maya p.o.v
I can't believe we finally thought of a name for our little girl. Now all we have to do is think of a middle name for her. Why are names so hard to think of?
"Lucas?" I asked. "Yeah" He answered.
"Can we go buy some things for layla today?" I asked. "Of course, do you want to go now?" He asked me. "Yeah" I said. "Oh and I'm gonna need some more maternity clothes, the ones I have now are getting a little tight" I continued. "Ok" He sighed.
We then put on our shoes and walked out to the car.
25 minutes later
"Target or Babies R us ?" Lucas asked.
"Um let's go to babies r us, first " I said. "Okay" He said and pulled into the parking lot.
Once he parked he looked over at me and smiled. "Can you believe that we're already shopping for our baby?" He asked. "No I can't believe it but I'm glad we are" I said and then we got out of the car.
"I want to do an elephant theme in her nursery" I said as I looked through nursery decorations. "Okay, what color ?" He asked. "Well I really like these teal elephant pictures, so I might like to do teal" I told him.
"How about we get the furniture first and then worry about decorations" He said. "Yeah I guess we can do that" I agreed.
"Lucas, I love this crib and dresser, don't you? " I asked him as I was looking at the furniture. "Yeah, sure but the nursery is up to you " He replied. "Well I want this one" I said.
"Then I will go buy it" He said.
Lucas was carrying the boxes for the crib and dresser as we were walking back to the car and let's just say, he's having some trouble. I was laughing at him while he struggled to see where he was going.
"Maya, why don't you help me" He said. "Sorry, doctor said no heavy lifting for me" I teased. Lucas then tripped over a rock and almost dropped the boxes.
"Lucas, you better not drop those, we do not have the money for you to break the first thing she has" I warned. "I won't drop them" He said and placed them on the ground so he could open the trunk of the car.
"Whatever" I said as I got in the car.
"You know maya, you've been really mean lately" He said as he put the boxes in the car. "I can't help it" I said as he got into the car.
Once we got home my parents kept asking questions. "So where were you two?" Shawn asked as soon as we got in the house. "We went shopping for the baby" I said. "Aww let me see what you got" my mom said as she ran over to me. "we only got the crib and dresser, you can see them once the entire nursery is done" I said and opened the fridge to get a snack.
"Well that's no fun" she said. "And get out of the fridge, I'm making dinner" she continued. "Ughh" I said as I shut the fridge and sat down at the counter. "What are you making?" I asked after a couple seconds causing everyone to laugh. "Your favorite" Mom said. "Chicken Alfredo?!" I asked excitedly. "Yep" Mom said.
"Did you guys pick out a name yet?" Shawn asked as we were eating dinner. "Yeah, we decided on Layla but we don't have a middle name yet"
I said. "We were gonna do Miracle but the more thought I put into it the more I didn't like it" I continued.
"Oh" Mom said.

Hi people, I woke up very early today because my dog was looking out the window, barking at a turtle so I was able to write this chapter.

And I'd like to give credit, even though I'm not going to use the names, these 2 people were very helpful when it came to giving me alot of names. They came up with the name miracle and gave me a lot of middle names for it, I appreciate it but after some thought I came up with the name layla and couldn't just not use it.
