 Meeting him

The class is over and I go to Art Class.

I sit in the front of the class and for once am happy for this class. I like art because I can express what I want without having to talk.

" Alright, class so we are just going to jump right into it. Your first project is going to be based on photography. Take a picture of whatever you want and then submit it to my online classroom. I'll print them out and then give them back to you guys when you present. You will tell us the meaning behind the picture. Okay... go ahead and start thinking. Oh and if you don't have a camera, I can let you borrow one. Also, the project is due by the end of the month." he says.

Easy. I love photography. I start writing down what I think I should take pictures of.

Riley

Jonah

The lockers

A football field

All those have a greater meaning to them. We all are deeper than people think we are.

" Hey can I borrow your pencil?" someone asks next to me. I look up and see a, light blond haired, nice-looking guy But not as good as Jonah. I nod and give it to him. He smiles and then writes something down.

" Thank you Val ." he says.

" No problem," I say back. I take my pencil and then start writing. My paper gets covered by another paper and I look up.

" Read it," he says

I look at it and it says, " Can you be my photography project?"

" Why?" I ask him

" Because you look interesting," he says. I really don't.

I shake my head, " No I mean why didn't you just ask me. Verbally."

" Oh uh... I don't know. I guess I was just nervous to talk to you." he says.

I frown, " Why?"

He shakes his head waving it off, " So will you do it." he asks.

" yeah."

" But like what are you going to do? How are you going to take the picture." I ask.

" I'll follow you around, find out more about you. When the time is right, I'll take your picture." he explains.

I slowly nod. Jonah might not like it but oh well.

" Okay." I agree. He might be following me around for a month. Okay...

" Great. We'll start tomorrow," he says. Great. The bell rings and we all get up. Thankfully that was our last class. I go to the front and wait for Jonah.

" Beautiful," he says behind me and I break out into a smile. He wraps his arms around me and pulls me close. We walk to his car and he drives me home.

Once we arrive, he puts his hand on mine, " What do you think about Fae?"

" I don't like her. She's too high on fake happiness." I respond.

" I know, but imagine if you were in her shoes." he tries to reason.

" She blew up at me today because I didn't smile back at her. And then she was all like, 'you think you're all this and that' but I don't think I'm all that. I know I'm not. She's just annoying. And If I were trying to make friends, I wouldn't blow up like that." I say.

Jonah gets his index finger and takes my chin and turns my head to his," She's sitting with us tomorrow. And I need you to be nice, and if you are nice, then I will buy you a bag of Swedish fish." he says and my ears perk up.

I look at him wide eyed and ask," Really?"

" Yeah, but only if you're nice." he says and pecks my lips making me smile.

" Bye Jonah," I say and get out of the car and walk into my hellhole of a house.
