Are we there yet?

When I was growing up, I always heard bout this place called Pandora...I never thought in a million years I'd be going there. I had just gotten outta the shower when the phone rang,
almost slipping down the hall I reached the phone and answered it.

*phone call*

Hello?
Yes, is this Mrs, Ashton jade Moon?
Um..yes it is.
Okay. Good I have a very important question to ask you Mrs moon?
Okay? And what is that??
Your father doctor moon left us a paper...before he died that when you turned the appropriate age you would come to Pandora and be one of our avatar drivers, since you have graduated collage and have a degree in automotive, agricultural and knows about are place on Pandora...it would be my pleasure and your father's if you would come to Pandora.

All you have to say is yes Mrs moon and a plane will pick you up at the airport in the morning and you'll be on your way to Pandora.

OMFG I'm going to Pandora...I'm going to Pandora.... IM GOING TO PAAAANDORAAAAA!!!

I started having these dreams of flying...sooner or later tho you always have to wake up.
In cryo, you don't dream at all. Doesn't feel like 6 years...feels like a fifth of tequila and an ass-kicking.
Tommy was the scientist not me.
Up ahead was Pandora, we grew up hearing about it I never figured I'd be going there.
I was just coming out of our compartments when one of the medics came by to check me.
"Are we there yet?"
"Yeah sunshine, were there. Were there" all of us that were headed to Pandora boarded a plane and while I got my stuff put down and sat in the chair this girl..a very pretty girl sat beside me, when the plane took off she would fall asleep here and there, I really thought she was cute. When she was about to go back to sleep a guy yelling at all of us to put our exo-packs on woke her up. I kinda felt sorry for her so I tapped her arm and woke her up out of her trance like state and started talking you her. She had the most sexiest voice I've ever heard from a girl. It was sweet, calming and she had a southern accent.
Then she looked down at my legs and gave me a sympathetic look, and then I found out she has a huge scar on her bicep and is also an ex-marine.

I was finally on the plane headed to Pandora I was about to drift off to sleep. Again...when one of the guys starts telling all of us to put our exo-packs on. If we breath Pandora's air we'll lose consciousness in
20seconds and be dead in 4 mins.

*wtf have I gotten myself into I say in my head*

When I feel someone tap my arm, I look over and there's this guy ( kinda cute guy) trying to get me to snap outta my trance like state.

He looks at me and smiles I smile back.
He holds out his hand and says " Jake. Jake Sully" what's ya name?

I'm ash. Ashton moon.

Jake- well nice to meet you Ashton.

Ash- no please just call me ash.

Jake- well okay *chuckles*

I look down and notice that Jake is in a wheel chair, I look back up at him and give him a sympathetic look.

Ash- what happened?

Jake- spinal...
*looks down😔*

Ash- down be sad jake, we all got something that happened to us.

Jake- Ha! Yeah sure, don't look like you do.....your perfect.

Ash- *blushes* not exactly my dear boy. *pulls up my sleeve and shows Jake a scar that runs from the bottom of my right shoulder to the top of my elbow*

Jake- holey shit!! How did that happen?

Ash- enemy bombed our hiding place and I was to slow to get out and when it exploded a piece of metal cut my arm...had to get 45 stitches.

Jake- wait...were you......a marine????

Ash- yes I was...i was a sniper but now I'm an ex-marine, but you might be out but ya never lose the attitude. *I say with a smile*

Jake- same here * looks at me with alil joy in his eyes*

Ash- really?!

Jake- yeah!

Ash- at least im not alone now.

Jake- I'd never leave you. *jake mumbles*

We finally touch down and they open the plane door so we all can get out, I stayed back to wait for Jake and to help him out. We put on our duffle bags and I went behind him and started pushing him in his wheel chair. We walked off the plane, we were walking and this big robot looking thing with a man in it stop turns round whistles at me and says hey hey good looking and says " look out hot rod" to jake I just roll my eyes and look down at Jake and start laughing. We finally get inside the building and this man with scars on the side of his face and on his arm is giving a safety brief.
Jake- there's nothing like an old school safety brief to put your mind at ease.

I look at Jake and smile.
After that we start heading to the bio lab when we hear a guy calling for Jake.
Jake. Jake your Jake right? Tom's brother wow, you look just like him, oh sorry I'm norm. Norm spellman I went through avatar training with him.
I see Jake's shoulders relax and I could tell he missed his brother so I put my hand on his shoulder he looks up smiles and puts his hand on mine, I look at him and start blushing.

Norm- and who are you my dear?

Ash- I'm Ashton moon.

Norm- WAIT!?! THE ASHTON MOON!?! that's father ran this place and that also got this whole thing started and helped Dr. Augustine write the book on Pandora And that's now the youngest avatar driver here?!?

Ash- *giggles* yes that's me, but you can call me ash...and that was alot of "ands" *laughs*

Norm- I am so honored to meet you... Like omg.

So we keep walking and finally enter the lab while norm is running his mouth me and Jake head to where our avatars are.
This guy with short black curly hair comes over to us...I think his name is Max.
Norm comes back and starts talking to him.

Norm- hey I'm doctor norm spellman.

Max- hi I'm Max

*norm and Max are talking*

I lean down to Jake and say let's go look at our avatars, he nods. So I push him to his avatar.

Jake- damn they got big *chuckles*

Ash- yeah they have.

Jake looks at his avatar
Jake- looks like him

Ash- no, looks like you. This is your avatar now Jake.

Jake smiles at me and we walk over to mine.
My avatar has long black hair her body is dark blues and light blues.
Ash- wow :)

Norm- she looks just like you. She's pretty

Jake- yeah she is pretty just not as pretty as ash tho.

Jake looks up at me and smiles, I look at Jake and blush.
Max- they have great muscle tone, and Ash yours was difficult.

Ash- why?

Max- the eyes of your Avatar kept going to light red. We don't know why but I think we finally got it right.

I look at Max and nod my head.
Then I ask him, what if my eyes aren't fixed?
What will happen? Am I a threat? Or something?

Max- not that we know of. Your just special. Max says with a smile.
