Anneliese P.O.V

The first thing I registered was how comfortable I was, and that there was someone staring at the side of my face.

I slowly opened my eyes getting greeted by the bright morning orangy light.

"Good morning" Brent whispered beside me making me turn my face to the side, he was right next to me, propped up by one arm watching me with a small smile on his face.

He wasnt anywhere near my personal bubble so I didnt freak out, and he was on top of the covers while I was under so that was another reason for me to stay calm but oh, he looked so damn gorgeous!

The sight of him in the morning made my slow heart begin to pound loudly, he looked so perfect in the morning, his hair wasnt even messy, his bright blue eyes alert and beautiful, he had changed into a simple black shirt that made him look paler but with the sunlight that was barely making its way into the room he looked beautiful.

I sighed at him, thats what he was, beautiful.

There was no other word that could describe him.

Why were all darn vampires so beautiful?

"Morning," I whispered back rolling to my side so I was facing him completely gaining the courage from I have no idea where! Maybe the fact that I was under the covers helped.

"Why are you waking up so early? You've barely been asleep for an hour or so," he grinned.

"Have you been watching me sleep?" I teased.

He nodded seriously, "You asked me to stay with you until you fell asleep," he reminded me.

I nodded slowly and closed my eyes remembering everything, how I broke down and told him how I felt, how he promised he would make sure I always felt alive, he probably said that only to make me feel better at the time, and how he then carried me to his room and put me in his giant bed only making me hold onto him and ask him not to leave me until I fell asleep, jeez that had been so embarrassing.

What a crazy night!

"How'd you sleep beautiful?" I heard him ask quietly.

"Good," I smiled opening my eyes and looking at him, I actually had slept pretty good despite the fact that I knew nothing about this person, err, vampire, but the fact that I had just slept soundlessly gave me reassurance that he was no creep or anything like that.

"You seem in a good mood, so I suppose there is no hangover right?" he chuckled lightly.

I smiled wider, of course I was in a good mood, how could I not be in a good mood if I woke up next to him? Any girl would be lucky to wake up at his side and I made sure to cherish these moments because who knew when I would have another opportunity like this one?
