Anneliese P.O.V

"ANNELIESE IS YOUR WHAT?!" the fury on grandpa's voice made me cringe more into Gabriel, he gently wrapped an arm around my shoulder and pressed me more to his side.

Oh sweet Jesus! I knew this was a horrible idea, he seemed to be getting angrier by the second as he realized what Gabriel had just told him was true.

"She's my mate Alpha, we mated" he repeated calmly for about the fifth time, no matter how many more times Gabriel said this grandpa still couldnt seem to believe it.

His eyes widened and he seemed to be trying to contain his anger "I dont believe you!" he snarled giving him a deadly glare, "Gabriel get out of my house now for making stupid jokes like that!" he growled.

I held onto Gabriel's arms and watched silently as grandma rose from the couch and put a hand on grandpa "Jake honey, calm down" she said gently looking super calm about this.

"Liz can you hear what this fool is saying?! He's saying he mated with your granddaughter!" he threw his hands up in the air and began to pace around.

"Alpha I know it sounds crazy but it happened! My wolf-"

"Stop!" Grandpa snapped turning to us, "Stop this nonsense right now Gabriel!" he growled using a weird tone that made Gabe frown and lower his look.

"You cant tell me you dont smell my scent all over her," he murmured.

"Of course I do! That doesnt mean anything!" Grandpa snapped again making me swallow hard, oh man I hadnt seen him this mad in a while! He was always such a nice funny guy who liked to joke around but oh man when he got mad, you better watch out for his wrath!

"Jake," Grandma said his name gently, "She has a mark on her neck," she said quietly taking a closer look at my neck, I quickly gulped and covered lowering my look to the ground.

Grandpa snapped his hard eyes to mine and softened his look once he saw my scared eyes, "Annie let me see," he said, I could tell he was straining to keep his voice calm.

"Show them Annie," Gabriel told me giving my shoulder a reassuring squeeze.

I lowered my hand and saw the exact moment grandpa saw Gabriel's mark on my neck, he seemed to take in a really big angry breath.

"Oh my Gosh! It's true Jake, Annie has a mark just like mine!" Grandma exclaimed smiling slowly and turning to him, I flickered my eyes to grandma's mark on her neck and saw what she was talking about, just a couple of inches from her throat was a faded mark that definitely looked like bite marks.

"Grandpa dont be mad please, it....just happened," I said quietly watching him pacing around in the living room.

"Alpha you know that Annie couldnt have a better mate, she's in very good hands and as Beta in the pack I can assure you nothing will ever hurt her, I will always protect her and-"
