I remember holding my new baby girl close. "Can I see her, baby?" My wife at the time, Jodi had asked me. I pouted playfully. "Just a minute..." I reply, looking into the new baby girl's eyes. Brown, like her mother's. Her hair a small brown ploof. "Mark, please." She continued. "Fine," I said, handing the small newborn to her. "She's so tiny, how much did she weigh again?" She asked. "Five pounds and 3 ounces," I replied, smiling down at the cutest thing the world had to possibly offer.

"When will Damian and Holly be here?" She asked. "I dunno, I'll call your sister," I reply, then gave both my wife and our newly born daughter a small smooch. I walked outside, then began ringing Jodi's sister. "Hello?" I heard over the other line. I spoke,

"Hey, when will you guys get here?" I ask.

"I'm not sure, traffic is backing us up. It is Halloween you know."

"I'm not dumb. Are the kids alright? Antsy?"

"Holly is three, Damian is seven, Mark. Obviously, he said something about candy and Holly's' going crazy." She said, and as she did I could hear Holly crying in the background, yelling candy and some of the names of the brands.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just call when you're here." I answered her, smiling at the fact I didn't exactly have to deal with them.

"Alright, Mark. Oh, wait! How cute is she?"

"Cutest thing ever, now be careful on the road."

"Alright, see you in like fifteen minutes."

I hung up and shoved my phone in my pocket, walking back into the room that had my baby and wife. "When will she be here?" Jodi asked, facing me as she held the small baby girl. "She said traffic is really backing them up, at least fifteen, ten minutes they'll be here," I reply. She gave me a nod, then looked down at our child. Jacklynn Rose Calaway, the newest addition to our family. "I wonder if she'll be a wrestler..." Jodi thought. "Maybe," I say, sitting on a chair next to the hospital bed where my wife laid. I had a smile on my face, of course. It took a while, especially labor. To be honest I didn't think I could stand watching someone in so much pain that I cared for as much as I did. But I did it, and the result was this beautiful and healthy baby. "Jackieeee. Look, it's Daddy." I heard her speak. I felt frozen for a moment, looking at the baby as her brown eyes stared back at me. She smiled, widely, showing the gums of her mouth. Her little hands stuck out, swinging about as she tried to get me. I gave a laugh, being handed her again. I held her with one arm easily, staring down at her. My other hand was on her stomach, tickling her as gently as possible. I laughed along with her as she giggled. Her small little hand grabbed one of my fingers, her staring down at it, sticking her tongue out. I watched as her eyes went wide the minute I moved it. Then, I heard my wife speak, me facing her as she did so.

"She's defiantly gonna be a daddy's girl." Jodi told me, her looking down at the baby girl in my arms.

I smiled at the thought of that as well. Damian, currently was more into sports and the outdoors, so I don't get so much time with him other then the fact I travel. Holly is only into princesses at the moment, and when I'm around I'd of course play along. But, for some reason, some strange reason, I felt like this little girl was different, different from all from the rest... And, as I watched her grow into the women she is, I saw I was right all along...
